  • Imagine being in that room--hanging out with Sammy Davis Jr, Cary Grant and Elvis?!

  • 3 seconds but it was worth it...

  • fats do?

  • It is so sad that fame, fortune and all that destroyed this beautiful human being. He had too much, too young and that took an enormous toll on Elvis.

  • Wow, Cary Grant an Elvis fan? Great footage.

  • That he could admit he was nervous--that's such a turn-on. Beautiful man!

  • iT wAS a SWEATY sHOW eLVIS?!

  • Cary Grant - what a hipster , one of the first celebs to take LSD back in 1959 when all the hippies were still at school.

  • Elvis was never sexier than he was in that damn leather jacket.

  • Wrong about Cary Grant he was no womens man he was an all out Faggot he lived back in the thirties with a male actor lover the first time that two men lived together in Hollywood, and every one knew about it.

  • @rigoberto565 Your comment sound ignorant you fucking hillbilly. Grant was either heterosexual or bisexual. He wasnt strictly into men. He had many love affairs and marriages with many women that confessed they were sexually intimate. Truth is you dont know what the fuck you are talking about.

  • Is that Cary Grant that Elvis is talking to at 0:39?

  • @timothyissohot That Cary Grant, He was a lover of women and they loved him in his day.

  • @timothyissohot Yes, That's Cary Grant.

  • Saw a lot off ass kissing in this video.

  • Imagine the mood Elvis must have been in at that party? He had been doubting himself for quite some time and wasn't sure that the audience was going to receive him in a positive manor. History tells us that they definately did. From this after party on....he knew he was back. And we can thank God for that!!!!

  • @kim101011970 This is 1970, not 1969. He already knew he was back.

  • @herutun I thought this was the party after his first night back in Vegas, no?

  • I want to thank everyone who was resposible for bringing these Elvis videos to light i love and enjoy them all thank you so much

you have no idea what they mean to me as a black fan of Mr Presley

  • Remember, the Beatles were Elvis fans long before they made it big, and those alive still are.

  • Elvis, Cary, and Sammy all in one place? That'd be a great party!

  • awesome to see Cary Grant in a non-film setting. He's at 0.27...!!!! The best actor of all time!

  • I think Sammy says to Elvis - "Man when you started to rev up... I've never seen anything like it!"

  • this is un real, a moment in time to see the biggest stars of our time doing what we only read about. I put this right up their with jimi hendrix watching buddy guy perform in some sweaty night club.

  • Elvis was a guy so good looking sexy carismatico and with a power and sexy voice. The beatles and the rolling stones was ugly over all the stones and sing horrible.

  • Classic.....thanks for sharing! ;)

  • My God. Elvis was GORGEOUS. That profile: Nose, cheekbones, and smile. What a work of art. Hamana, hamana. Yum.

  • those sideburns gosh!

  • Elvis looks just blows averybody away, it is truly amazing

  • Sammy Davis jr, Cary Grant AND Elvis?!?! id love to be a fly on the wall in that room

  • Whooooaaaaaaa Elvis with Sammy and Cary. Small world!!!

  • whao that's Cary Grant!! Cool!

  • Sooooooooo handsome!

  • Oh, to have been in that room.

  • Elvis had no big ego and just tried to do his best for his audience.

  • I saw Elvis with actor Cary Grant and Sammy. Nice peek backstage. Must have been around 1968 during his "comeback". Thanks.

  • @Streamline09 Nope, 1970.

  • Could you imagine no matter where you went people could not take their eyes off you and it was all out of envy?! Waking up every day as Elvis Presley...must have been a truly amazing feeling.

    RIP my King

  • @matizzle32 It is know that by 1975 he was tired of being Elvis Presley. He just did not see a way out of his contracts and in the end he was physically and mentally overloaded. No wonder he died at just 42. I just feel for the man. I do not blame him for his addictions. He did not know any better and in the position he was placed in he did need them.

Just read and learn. A sad fairytale. Shakespearian.

  • @herutun

I'm an avid Elvis fan. You're telling me something I already know. I wrote my original comment specifically relating to this video and period of his life, being 1970 when he had just returned for his third Vegas engagement.

You're right that the last 3 years of his life were incredibly difficult for him. A sad end to a fairytale life indeed. All the reason why I stand between him and any offenders looking to defame him.

  • @matizzle32 Then we are fighting the same fight!:) God bless us.

  • @matizzle32 Then we are fighting the same fight.God bless all of us.

  • @matizzle32 - Agreed.

  • Elvis killed of the likes of sammy and sinatra and in turn he was destroyed by the beatles.

  • the irony is that the beatles happened because of elvis. John Lennon picked up a guitar after hearing heartbreak hotel on the radio

  • @damieandark elvis was never destroyed by the beatles, they became popular while he was stuck in movie contracts, but soon as he got out of them he came back just as big as the first time. and the seventies was his concert period when he sold out every venue he went to. so elvis survived the beatles when others didnt.

  • @JAARNO88 Elvis was still around at the time of beatlemania yes but he was already looking dated by that time hislegendary early days and a fanbase that grew older alone with him fueled his continuing popularity rather then cutting edge celebrated songs he just couldnt adapt to a shift in the music genre of rebelious youth that beatlmania, rolling stones ect brought.

  • @damieandark but its impossible for anyone to remain "the latest thing in music" every artist eventually becomes the establishment from which future generations will rebel against. thats the nature of pop and rock music. even lady gaga will one day be out of date!

  • @damieandark

"destroyed"......wake up or shut up man.

  • @matizzle32 ????????????

  • wat a handsome dude

  • Classic footage! of some all time classic people! God Bless'm all.

  • Thankyou thankyou THANKYOU, for putting this up. What a great moment. And obviously Elvis looked perfect. Mmmhm ;)

  • Thanks for the peek into a special time...

  • Kat, ain't that the truth? Nice rare footage. Thanks for the rare backstage footage. "That's the Way It Is" is a great concert film. Get the 2001 remaster for some great entertainment.

  • Elvis was a gentleman and was kind to everyone he met. He had that sothern charm. He was a old school gentleman that today's stars could learn so much from.

  • @VisayanPrincess southern charm? that's called hypocrisy^^

    Still preferable to arrogance though

  • "You started the rhythm and never stopped."

  • @drvinnievegas He said, "You started to rev up...and never stopped".

  • What does Sammy mean with the statement "You started a river that never stopped"????

Does he mean that Elvis revolutionized music?

  • Probably, and in a way, he did.

  • @Katzenhase Started to rev up, and never stopped. He got going and never slowed down.

  • "You started a river that never stopped"

  • and Cary Grant--elvis is gorgeous
