Other people have commented about the speed of the song. And here is a revelation, the song didn't speed up until the drummer came in. Weird... With all due respect to the technical prowess on display here, this number is first and foremost a FUNK tune. If you're going to play machine-gun bass, then please do it like Prestia does it or at least do it without leeching the funk out of the whole piece.

I´m checking again and the BPM I´m getting is around 126 in the beginning, being that Miller plays three tuplets as an upbeat in the riff. Of course it takes some time in this clip to settle the tempo, but the groove coming out of the rushy start is very good.
