@Youvegotnothinonme I totally agree with you and I believe we will see it. The 5.4 is getting long in the tooth, I'd be willing to bet the twin turbo 5.0 is already being tested, for possible debut in 2014. We shall see.
wow ford offers what bmw did a few years back wow ford you are amazing , how about that new coyote engine with i-vtech ...... oh wait that was honda technology .
@telestrat52 No i have a ford truck and ITS the shittiest thing on the road , I dont know how I blew your mind by reminding the world that Ford is just copying what BMW did a few years back and is still doing , look it up if you have a hard time hearing it from another person and yes although the coyote is the sweetest 5.0 ever its only so much better than its previous versions do to the intelligent variable valve timing, thank honda toyota etc . Ford didnt bother before cause they are cheap
That is the problem with American cars. They make things too complicated. It is prone to break up. It would have been a direct injection with a few busters. But no. They have to make all these curves and lines to complicate the engine with no better results.
@jorgipogi direct injection and tubro technology has been around long enough to perfect. There isn't any need to worry about the engine failing because of complications. Thats like worrying your computer is going to electrocute you if you type too fast.
@jorgipogi what are you talking about? Not all american cars are complicated. Plus, this one is using technology that has been around for a while and can be found in some luxury foreign cars. Also, american built engines are some of the longest lasting in the world right now.
I wish I could afford a new SHO for the wifey but with this economy...not right now. It would be nice to see this in a AWD compact model that would wax an EVO.
@green95gt The Taurus is not a city car and not built for it mpgs. It's built for its power and luxory. If you are looking for a powerful, luxurious, and fuel efficient car under 100,000. Let me know when you find it
I see plastic sticking out of the turbine..not good in the long run but i hope it is a reliable car and im wrong

Nice, 365HP V6. Good MPH for the power.

Hyundai Genesis, Audi A4, Caddy CTS, Lexus ES there's a lot more. BMW and Mercedes are on a different class over this

They need to put it in a smaller, lighter car...
Just like the Max Wedge 426 back in the days. They stuffed the biggest engine in their smallest car... I wish I was there XD

Can I have one in a little sporty car now? Pretty please? That motor is amazing, but the new Taurus is HUGE.
