@dantenosebest Well, shit. There's a lot of things I could go on about, like the fact that I never said I hadn't played older MegaTen games, or that Nocturne and DDS themselves had significant gameplay changes compared to older games, but I obviously can't win against such a well worded argument!

This theme is good, but I like Innocent Sin's battle theme better. On the flip side, I like EP's boss theme slightly better than IS's.

You can really appreciate how far Megaten and Persona have gone in style, art and music. Even though I appreciate the old art style more, the new artstyle is something to appreciate too. I still love them both regardless of opinion.

Also, I love how Persona 4 meshes in with Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung so well. Then again Persona was really into the realm of psychology anyways. :D

guys. the persona series has evolved. for a long time being unaffected by others and the world around you was cool in japan hence the "emo" trend. P4 was different because it was evolving with the culture of japan. stop arguing about stupid shit. every one of shin magami tensi games has been good compared to about 90% of the market of J-RPG's so stop fighting and be happy that a company exists that has some fucking dignity left (I am looking at you Square Enix)

@CrombieTheZombie There's always those Megaten fans that will claim to be more hardcore than everyone else for playing the originals or older games and how they know so much more, until someone else proves THEM wrong. And then someone proves that person wrong and so on.

As much as I *LOVE* meeting someone who loves SMT like I do, I also kind of hate the so-called "hardcore" fanboys

I always thought that Persona 2 was pretty superior compared to other RPGs back then when it came to character interaction. I mean, you could actually talk to your allies in safe areas and get their opinion on things making them seem more solidly made, and if you religiously talked to the side characters in the city after main story events, they had some pretty interesting back stories. I always found the cast of the P2 games to be much more interesting than the ones in the later games.

I totally agree with you though that P3 and P4 aren't quite in emo-kid territory. Being a high school student right now, the typical teenager whines and moans a lot more than the main cast of those games ever seemed to. I can understand why one would being annoyed with the whole school and dating sim elements though.

Well, you obviously know nothing about what being an emo is, so you`d better shut your piehole. Summoning Personae using a device similiar to a gun is not emo. Cutting yourself is. Therefore, you fail.
