  • The 1979 All-Star game. The one and only time it was held in the Kingdome. Lee Mazzili had his big moment with a game tying solo shot in the 8th, but Dave Parker was the star. And this time it was not his bat, but his cannon of an arm that wowed everyone. He had two assists, throwing out Jim Rice as he tried to stretch a double into a triple and throwing out Brian Downing at home with what is still the best throw from the outfield to home I have ever seen.

  • @deweycheethamandhowe This was the only time the NBC Game of the Week crew broadcasted from Seattle. Crazy to think

  • Dave Parker stole the show with two AMAZING plays!

  • NBC needs to get the game back, I am tired of Fox and their pimping of their latest TV shows every few seconds!

  • That would be cool if you post the whole game.

  • @markofly76 I plan to under a different account; once I do I will let you know.

  • I Believe This Was A Video Clip Of NBC Sports' The 50th Major-League Baseball All-Star Game Video Open From Tuesday Night, July 17, 1979

  • Good memories

  • Thank you for posting this. I remember watching this at the time. Do you have the rest of this game?

  • @63kraft I do and plan to post it as private videos which I can share with you once I do.
