@bambootoona bear in mind how fast they were going dude, when youre going faster your pumps tend to look and feel alot easier, albeit somewhat risky at high speeds. When youve just slammed a hill or have been pushing for a bit, the pumps look crazy easy. Id imagine youre comparing this to starts or slow speeds, in which case, large pumps take a while to build up. The little front-of-board wiggles will get you going, then theyll get easier as you pick up speed. [also try reducing your w/base] x
I have the walkabout also, but havent been able to do huge pumps without wheel bite. I noticed your able to pump really hard and no issues. I have the same set up as you, as Im sure all walkabouts do, any recommendations on not getting wheel bite?? I have 2, 1/8 risers in front and back plus dewedged as well, so board is really high off ground, should I add more risers? Just doesnt seem right cause wouldnt it come with everything I would need to not get wheel bite..?
Just got my Walkabout, it is absolute heaven. . . the locked-in feeling at the nose is unbelievable! Everybody who rides it wants one. Even enjoying carving it, my Derv is not going to get much use anymore. . .
@espio23ify Hey man, I am rockin the pulse in this video. In this video I had a Bennett up front with a Cindrich Cinnett baseplate, wedged at 18 degrees. The back is dewedged at 7 degrees. I think I was rocking red and orange khiros for my bushings. As for the wheel base, I am not sure what the actual length is, but I am using the furthest back holes for the rear truck, and the furthest back front holes for the front truck.

This is what it's all about-- having a goofy good time wiggling around town with friends, and then posting it to the internet. Heh.
Silly question, but I see one of you guys has a pulse. What's your setup? what wheelbase is he using?
