What can i say here!! Menuhin's recordings of this concerto since the first one with his teacher (Enescu), till the last one with De Burgos,are magnificent never to forget his recording with the Great German Nazi's conductor (Furtwanler), However his recording with Efrem Kurtz chosen as one of the best Century recording by EMI

@Mozart99900 it is true that Wilhelm Furtwängler work in the nazi Germany, but is also know that he wasn`t a nazi.

exist recording in wich Wilhelm Furtwängler clean his hand after shake the hand of Goebbels.

I just want to say here that I have written "Nazi" just to laugh about those who refused to let Menuhin bring the Great Conductor to the States. The Jewish members of the orchestras there even rejected the Idea before its occurance. I do wish that you get my Point. Anyway I thing that the " Yankee Philharmonics" where the losers :). I do thank you also for taking my recommendation about Kurtz Recording, however I prefer Furtwangler to Him. TY
