How did you play this with a usb joystick or gameport? If it's usb. How did you do it?

I used a Logitech Attack 3 USB joystick and I didn't have to do anything really. I just plugged it in and it worked :)

@i486x Sorry to disturbe you again, but i've googled f-22 raptor and usb-joystick and it said everywhere that usb and F-22 raptor doesn't work on XP. Maybe it has something to do with the Service pack. What service pack are you using? And have you played F-22 recently?

I'm sorry, I haven't played F-22 recently. I was using Service Pack 2 I think. Have you tried downloading the demo and then trying it with the joystick? Maybe your F-22 isn't the latest version. If that's the case, try downloading the latest patch or something. Hope this helps :)

I remember a mission when I had to destroy a dictator's plane, and I fast-forwarded the game time to reach the plane and destroy it. If i souldn't have done that, I would have spent 10 hours to complete the mission! XD

nice vid !! any tips on how to avoid the missiles ? i seem to get struck very easily by them. chaff and flares not v effective, or maybe i am not maneuvering fast enough ?

HA ! Nice ! That was my favorite Simulation. Loved the demo mission. I think that was in spring 1998. I played the demo for hours, over and over again and tried crazy stuff. It was so cool to fly through the clouds and see the stars. I miss that well balanced mixture of realism and arcade.

U'RE RIGHT! I played the demo countless times! Yes, I enjoyed flying through clouds and being able to see stars. It felt like a dreamworld, gazing at those. I really miss those moments. Gives me a lot of nostalgia. And yes! I did try crazy stuff! I remember going into an enemy base far away and encountered new planes like the Su-27. I miss shooting those Harriers. Landing in an enemy base would result in a crash. So much more I did. Nice to meet you :)

Small features like this made you think there were much more to discover. "Dreamworld" couldn´t have said it better :) Those Novalogic simulations were really nice. Easy accessable to the player and as said before, much to discover. It was also fun to blow the plane up by speeding it up over Vmax.

Hahaha! Yes! I would fly up to 30 thousand feet and then turn on my afterburner and dive. And suddenly the plane would explode. And when it came to ejecting, I remember flying upside down so close to the ground that when I ejected, the pilot would fall to the ground with a black splat. I was like wtf? good times...

OH MAN! I totally remember this baby Graphics were like WHOA! and it was praised for its GEOMETRIC aircraf look. it was supposed to be exact! I remember getting a F22 model when i was like 8 or 9 years old back in that would be like 92 or 93 and to think it has JUST gone into service a couple of years back!
