mistitled. there were no secrets. also what lies in the shadow of the statue. the smoke monster lies in the shadow of the 4 toed statue/foot. the statue is a statue of anubis. thats how that ties in. u clearly are copying seanie b. at least add something of your own

this is my opinion, you do not know that the statue is annubis infact looking at the statue it looks more like tawaret who was the goddess who was asociated with fertility which is appropriate for the island and its issues. it matches alot more and is usualy shown holding 2 ance's like the statue and also has four toes. an ance is an common eqyptian sybol just like that on the neckless that paul had when he died "the one harace has an arguement over" the symbol on the wall however was annubis:)

possibly never thought of that actualy thats a good point. some babies were however born ethen, eren and i wonder what made them special. also looking at the picture of annubis and the smoke on the wall i found out from different places that the hand gestures and possitioning mean to summon or to envoke which is interesting. also my idea is that it does not have to represent annubis himself just a worshiper or sacrifice wearing an annubis mask.btw horus(sky god) is also mentioned in a few places

how the baby thing works is that if a baby is conived off the island, but born on the island its ok.(claire/aaron) and if a baby is concived on the island and is born off the island its ok(sun/her baby). with ethan he must be special for some odd reason. maybe the statue was still up

i doubt the statue was still up. but i have to mention if i was in the losties position and i was on a boat and saw a gigantic four toed foot remnent of a huge statue like they did way back i would ask some questions. 1.were the hell did the rest of it go 2. how the hell did that get there 3.where the hell did the get the materials to build it (looks like sandstone) maybe the island was once mainland egypt or even tunisian sahara where ben appears after turning the wheel. i would stop to look:)
