@stuckurface I have steam installed already, but I have only 219 mb free space on my system, so i can't install Portal or any other game (Currently). Also, i ruined hl2 for myself, so i will delete that and install SMOD instead.

@xXRonTheBlacktigerXx If you are runing windows go to your start menu and type (free up disk space by deleting unnecessary files ). Then click the drive that you have steam installed in (example C:/) .Then select all of the files you don't need such as temporary inernet files. If that doesn't work go to your start menu and type defragment your hard drive and defrag your drive(s). If you don't have enough space after that then you will have to look through the drive that steam is intalled in

@stuckurface I'm totally out of luck. I don't have files that i don't want. Well, i DO have, but it's officially my dad's PC, so i can't delete something that he needs. But, don't worry, i get my new PC in 7 months and 17 days, so there i can install hl2 (maybe) and do what i wanna do ;)

to get a bsp map file you need to download them from the internet. there are tons of sites devoted to portal and half life maps
