this was horrible. chor lau heung was such a PLAYER. all these women be fallin in love with him and he will be ok with all that. i mean the one he "says" he loves is ill and he leaves and flirts with all these other women and falls in love. he encounters a different women like in each episode and each he has some connection with. this is a shitty drama with a shitty plot, got really boring with him and women

man i was mad at this movie because out of all the girls he likes everyone of them loves him buht its either they die or something bad happens and when he finally get to be with a girl .. its a random girl out of no where -.-

Actually, most of the remakes are horrible, including this one. This Chor Lau Heung doesn't even look like a real Chor Lau Heung. I would recommend the 1984's one. To me, that's a the best one...well, that's the only one I've watched :P

that's why it's called the new advanture of chor lau heung, so it doesn't follow the book, but i've to admit book adapation series around 2001-2005 don't dollow the book at all and now they do it half and half, and the older series follow exactly

I don't agree that "the new adventures of chor lau heung" starring Michael Miu and Barbara Yeung has a better storyline than this New Chor Lau Heung... I love both dramas and they're both amazing.

Although I have to say that couple wise, I think Michael and Barbara look cuter together than Richie and Gigi -- but all 4 actors/actresses are amazing anyways!!!
