I've learned that Michigan State University Veterinarian Teaching Hospital has a secret history of adopting out pets out that were NEVER abandoned. PLEASE HELP!

It should be criminal how they steal pets but disguise it as "abandonment", and not I'm trying to expose them for what they do and in the process of raising money to get him back because I only have until the 29th.

I was honest about my financial situation and Dr. Jennifer Puttick referred me to a vet outside of their facility, as a result Laurie (financial director) authorized the surgery violating their financial system just to prevent me from taking him to another vet. As of now I have until 04FEB to pay in full or they will give him away. :'-(

Also the org has no bias over the matter. It seems like they don't care if you are famous or a millionaire or the president, they are concerned about the welfare of the dog, not the human. It's reasonable. And i heard from a friend they do not just give away a dog or cat if they have not evaluated the person. That means whoever received the dog from Ellen is a third party. And this might have worried the org. But still, I feel Ellen's pain...

With all due respect to Ellen, i think the organisation has all the right to take the dog away. Ellen's move to find the dog a family is good, it's philanthropic, but responsibility is different. She claimed responsibility over the dog. The issue here is the welfare of the dog. If you' re passed from one home to another you will be nothing more but a stray walking from home to home. Maybe if she helped that family adopt the dog (like helping them with the adoption process) that would be fine.

Ok. Hey. There's a reason the rescue organization took the dog back. They gave the dog to Ellen, knowing Ellen would take care of the dog well. However, they can't be sure the person Ellen gives it to is nice, and won't treat the dog badly. Honestly, they are acting in the dog's best interest, not some family who bonded with a dog over 2 weeks. I hope they do give the dog back to the family though.

but they don't realize these rescue organizations kill the dogs in allotted times. In Vermont, a dog is killed a week after admission if no family takes it, but in places like Florida it's only 2 days.
