  • god i remember hours of playing this game

  • Comment removed

  • me and my friend used to play 2 play..was so much better,

  • my neighbour had the full version of this and it was so freaking awesome, and super fun when playing with a friend (co-op, versus)

  • holycrap.. i never seen before this demo level...the beginning from the level i can't renember ..i have a german demo because i came from germany...hmmm

  • holy crap when i hadnt played the demo in years and years i had a dream of it and i remember it being a bit different i cant believe how perfectly accurate my dream was!!! wow and i couldnt remember it at all!!!

  • Best game ever.... Even though I had the demo, was still amazing. :D

  • I remember future cop on PC when I was a kid. It was the shit.

  • What is wrong with you? Its still in my top 10 games of all time (barely) just because of how epic it was.

  • My demo had a time limit for this on the top of the screen, never could complete the level :(

  • The Precinct Assault in this demo had a time limit. I could never beat Sky Captain as a kid.

Not sure why yours would have one in the campaign.

  • I think he and I had a more up-to-date version of the demo. I had a time limit too. I was surprised at this demo level. In my demo level, it was the final-version Griffith Park level with the time limit.

  • Ah, that makes more sense. You two probably had a later demo, which usually feature the final product under a time limit.

  • I really wonder why they did away with the cool intro at 3:20 and the blue units etc. It would've made the game more... police-y.

  • i have played an older version of this game named just Future Cop when i was 8 with better grafiks on the pc. and it was the best game experience i ever had. its so cool that someone post a video of it here. it makes me remember of the good times:-)

  • Thanks. Making Nostalgic Plays always bring back pleasant memories (for the most part, at least).

But this "Future Cop" title you speak of sounds interesting. Now I just want to research the game again!

  • God this is such a classic. I still have the game, I might dig it back up at some point. Wouldn't it be nice if they made a second one of this game after so long?

  • From what I have seen so far, remakes and sequels of past generation games have not been the greatest, but who knows with this game?

At the very least, I would like to see it on the Playstation Network as a downloadable game so this title can get the attention it truly deserved.

  • the real game music is better for this level i got the real game still i like the intro its a pretty cool game i like the game mode with tank and base

  • The music used in the demo worked well with the way the demo level was set up, but upon retrospect, it wouldn't work in the retail version, since it is a bit more calm with enemies. The demo level is much more flooded with enemy fire.

Also, it is a bit repetitive, and would get irritating to listen to over and over again at the much longer retail version. Yet, for a short demo, it did it's job at conveying the idea of "Griffith Park completely overrun by criminals".

  • multi player was fun on this game

  • No argument here.

  • i love this game! :D, played it when i was like 8 thank you for the nostalgia :)

  • No problem. That's why I made these videos.

  • Man I love this game.

  • lol i remember playing this when i was like 6!(im 15 now)

    its a good game...

i cant figure out how to get the laser gun from the hellsgate prison level!....

  • I'm in the same boat as you, right down to how old I was when I first started playing!

  • ....is...that a......HOTDOG?!?!?! O_o

  • Yes, that is a giant hotdog. It's a hotdog stand, and if you destroy it, Central warns you to keep civilian causualties or collateral damage to a minimum, I don't remember which one.

  • dude i WISH that i could play this demo... -_-

  • say me the stage is impossible to play in the real future cop i play ever but i haven´t the stage-.- say me the passwort please to play the stage

  • Unfortunately, this is not available in the retail version. It's a Playstation Magazine demo, which means that this is the beta version of Griffith Park.

  • wow its so different! O_o

  • Awesome! I used to play this with a friend, back then. I prefered the Versus Mode and he always wanted to Coop. Maybe because I've always beaten him up? :D I've never understand how he could build Airunits first. I've always sent 10 Tanks, since they get the money back, by taking towers.

  • one of the greatest games ever!

i loved the vs mode where you build dudes to send at the other guy

  • Precinct Assualt was an excellent idea for a versus mode. I really would like to see other games use that concept.

  • I agree TOTALLY. It really conveyed the sense of a completely crime-ridden L.A. and how chaotic it was.

  • man o maaaaaaaan. this brings back frickin memorys dude. btw @ AsDaylightdies7 - look at Gamesonly . c o m

i bet they got it .

  • Ahhhh, see only stumbled across this because i was looking for an emulator so i could play it, but it looks so crap to what i remember it being like, making because i played it along time ago but back in the day i remember this being one of the best games for PS1 !11

  • Ohhh man. I remember this game from so long ago! I wish i could find it...

  • Well, I hope you do find it!
