I have a paint gelding right now. Im starting him on barrels and so far hes better than my QH that i run barrels on. his turns are more fluid and snappy.I might be getting another paint gelding too. I dont think breed matters when it comes to barrels etc. If you got a horse with alot of heart that is willing to please, i think thats the type of horse that are good. They would put their life on the line for you.

seriously... my horse is half paint and hackney cross.. he runs faster then alot of QH's he runs againt! The horse on 0.11 looks just like my paint horse. I don't know what I would do with out her although I'm not a barrel racer but this was a great video. The only riding I do is english , jumping , trails, dressage. But very nice video and wonderful horses to go with it.
hey im selling my paint who is awomse at this stuff.......he turns so hard and fast he can dump most people. he runs 21's in poles and 18.50 on a standard barrel course :) hes only 14.2 hands if he were taller he would be a very very fast horse haha :)
ya my paint is only 14.2 also he is fast......can run low 21's in poles and low 15's in barrels......i just want to do barrel racing and he just cant keep up with those bigger horses. and you know there is a lot of big competition at places i go and ride.
I own a handsome paint gelding named Jigsaw. (Like a Jogsaw Puzzle) He is so cute and funny. Theres a tire in our field and he tried to pick it up. lol When i got another horse they were seperated and he opened the gate and got in with her lol.

not just quarter horses can barrel race my mom rescued a race horse and now he kicks ass when he barrel races and keeps the barrels up plus one of my bff's bought a paint horse and the pain had been abused she even has a scar on her ankel from a sever rope burn my freind trained the horse and now the horse is doing AMAZING she even won a buckle

A cool fact that I learned is that paints are Quarter horses well were, a long time ago they use to be known as the Quarter horse with spots. And AQHA didn't like them, but some people that did wanted to preserve this great color so they formed ApHA in 1965.
Eh there okay at barrels but watch a couple vids of quarter horses Qh's have better turns and are faster then the horses that you put in the vid get some better clips I've seen better paints at play days
i no how qh's barrel race. all of my barrel horses right now are qh's. barrel clips are very very hard to come by and it practically a miracle i found these. shut ur mouth and just watch the goddamn vid without commenting.
Actually there are Thousands of barrel racing clips that are Extremely EASY to find I guess your to lazy to look and I don't want to watch this video there fore I am going to go watch some other videos that are better

There's not much of a difference between a Paint and a Quarter Horse. Paints are pretty much Quarter Horses but with spots. However, I do prefer those two breeds to do barrels, rather than any other. Like Arabians, for an example. I just can't stand seeing them race. Don't get me wrong, they're fast little horses, but I just can see them doing other things instead.

Its true paints can do anything a quarter horse or any other (Non-gaited breed) horse can do. I also love paints! i have 2 of them and they will always be my favorite breed! They can do anything as good as if not better than a quarter horse and are most of the time flashier! I LOVE PAINTS!!!!

I totally agree with you on this. Paints can be just as great as quarter horses at barrel racing and polebending. For people who don't know, a horse has to have quarter horse in its blood line to be a Paint. And Paints can be just as stocky and short, which is needed for barrel racing. You made a wonderful video. I bought a Paint not to long ago, so that's one reason I support you on this.
i have a paint named comet. hes so beautiful. He had a black tail, white main. And a brown eye and a blue eyes. Hes rlly laid bak and lazy and we dont win much but hes the best <3

the paint breed is quarter horses, but they wouldnt let them register so they made up "their own breed" but there still quarterhorses.

Quarter Horse, Arabian, Thoroughbred, American Paints...
There all horses they are all capable of doing the same disciplines. Just differently...

i love paints i think they are the best color in the world!! (as far as breeds go, i think arabs but only because i have an arab mare and a paint gelding!) i have always loved them and dreamed of having one and that dream finally came true=)

Hey, wait a minute my horse barrel races and poles we even won a cone race where you do really tight turns and she is a racking horse blind in one eye she kicks butt!!! so yall cant say those two breeds just barrel race trust me i know ride my horse. :) lol

There's not much of a difference between a Paint and a Quarter Horse. Paints are pretty much Quarter Horses but with spots. However, I do prefer those two breeds to do barrels, rather than any other. Like Arabians, for an example. I just can't stand seeing them race. Don't get me wrong, they're fast little horses, but I just can see them doing other things instead.

ok i dont think it matters the breed of horse u have and i dont no y people say quaters horses are best at this and that, it dont matter id the horse like it there ganna do it, and i might lease a breeding stock paint and she LOVES barrels, CUTE VIDEO i love it

you should work on trying to get the horse to listen with just scwezzing with your legs that way when you dicide to run the legs off of him(i mean it in a good way i run the legs off my horse sometimes)he will feel it more and respond better but your realy good=]

Its true paints can do anything a quarter horse or any other (Non-gaited breed) horse can do. I also love paints! i have 2 of them and they will always be my favorite breed! They can do anything as good as if not better than a quarter horse and are most of the time flashier! I LOVE PAINTS!!!!

i'm buying a paint today! He's gorgeous. He's three yr old and is sorrel and white with two blue eyes. I love paints! I'm going to train him to do barrels when he's 4. :)

paints ARE quarter horses. alot of people dont know but its a fact,thats paints are QH's, but just "colored". :)

I totally agree with you on this. Paints can be just as great as quarter horses at barrel racing and polebending. For people who don't know, a horse has to have quarter horse in its blood line to be a Paint. And Paints can be just as stocky and short, which is needed for barrel racing. You made a wonderful video. I bought a Paint not to long ago, so that's one reason I support you on this.

i have a paint named comet. hes so beautiful. He had a black tail, white main. And a brown eye and a blue eyes. Hes rlly laid bak and lazy and we dont win much but hes the best <3

iv got a paint maxx^^ tobiano APHA:) and hes a speed demon when it comes to barels i don't see y some ppl think QHs are the only breed for barrels

lol i like paints ok but i like QHs better for barrel racin and everything, i have a buckskin paint and i have an appendix and i have a QH and the appendix is my favorite lol..my paint is a AGGERVATING 4 yr old mare but shes gettn more mature...and shes an alright barrel horse
