you guys look lovely together, and your horse is a very pretty jumper. token is right, ground poles are not necessary. many people like them because they make the jump look less scary, more inviting. they don't necessarily have to be used for only young horses and "riders who can not set up their horse properly". it's a training aid. training doesn't mean you suck. it means you're trying to learn.
not to get into an argument but you do not need ground poles they are used as an aid to help young horses and riders who can not set up thier horse properly
LOL oh dear...if you'd read my post to you properly, you'd have seen I said uprights and oxers...didn't say there was an oxer in there! Course you can jump w/o groundline, but it'll be you messing with your hrose's mind when he can't judge it properly...
does there LOOK like theres any oxes in these pictures? no and who made you the boss, if i want to jump without a groundline pole i will, my horse actually has the smarts the not care if theres one there or not dumb ass, fuk like seriously looking at ur vid... not cool

Thats not true, they're used as a ground line for young or green horses. I use them all the time with my horse and i know how to ride...
