it's an old video, but if you're gonna loot that chest, there are 6 other chests in that area to loot as well. 2 near Tannis's shack, 2 near the leftmost gun tower on the way to that chest (the ones that shout the warnings for leaving the play area), another on the cliff behind the catch-a-ride when spawning at the underpass, and finally, one at a bandit camp approximately NW of the catch-a-ride. Hitting these 7 chests is faster than looting Crimson Fastness. on Playthrough 2.5.

This chest doesn't always contain Eridian weapons. I've farmed it at least 8 times now and I only got a Mercurial Blaster and that was the very first time I opened it. It simply has a higher chance of spawning high grade weapons then other chests.

Actually the easiest way to get eridian(alien) weapons is in the secret armory of General Knoxx i found a glitch accidentally and literally just fell into the armory as i was walking and found out it doesnt set off the timer so you can go in over and over again so i got to 50+ eridian guns(yes eridian is the proper names you dippy's) and im thinking of doing an eridian drop party message me if you would like to see a pile of 46 eridian guns(would be more but thats max inventory plus 4 equipped)

Alright first of all,this guy has "42" unused SKILL POINTS... so obviously HACKS!!! If some of you people really need a(n) ERIDIAN WEAPON you can and will find one by killing captain something something in lance enclave or lance fastness.BTW They are very hard to kill, if you cant kill the lance army,you will need good grenade mods, rapid fire smgs that have corrosive or shock effects. If you realyy need a eridian weapon you could use mods, its more fun using smgs
