  • Your narration and music sucks ass! You intense, out of work new York asshole

  • if you can't sleep just listen to this guy talk, it helps

  • the best place to put it is in your ass

  • theres several places around me that sell used containers from 100 usd to 900 usd - conditions and sizes vary, some even have roll-up doors on the end. been thinking of making a house from them - this just inspired me to doit...maybe

  • If I make one of these, does that mean I can move countries AND take my house with me?

  • shit are you still selling that land for $100 an acre id be interested in about 30 acres

  • LMAO theres a reason its $100 an acre...cuz your dropping your ass in the blender of the drug war...its ground zero petcos tx ....geezz....i bet your sellin land there ?!....and the crazy train rolls on !!!

  • Thanks for the information! I'm looking into building a container house, but without losing its mobility, so I can ship it places. New job? No prob, just take the house with me. I want to use two 8x20 containers, one a "service module" with kitchen/bathroom/electrical/heating/sleeping area, and the other one a "living room module," for more space.

  • Then don't get one.

metal does not absorb or transmit gasses. the contaminents can only absorb into the paint.

start a fire in it and burn off all the paint on the inside.

    radio activity can be detected.

I don't guarentee anything.. I don't sell them. My friend does.

Any new house is full of chemicals from carpets, etc..

    relax..

  • @josephdupont Your friend should have done the ad.

  • what about decontaminating these containers? i would be afraid living in a steel structure not knowing what kind of chemicals were shipped if they were toxic or radioactive or antrhrax, biological , could have been many contaminants shipped in these steel containers over there lifespan and then your sealed in living inside of it! ...How can you guarantee that they are clean room safe?

  • VERY INTERESTING.

I THOUGHT IT WAS A 5 ACRE MINIMUM.

ANY WAY i'M THINKING OF JUST USING A TRAILER WITH SOLAR CELLS AND SMALL WINDMILLS. iHAVE 40 ACRES IN hUDSPETH.

CHECK OUT josephdupont hudspeth and let me know what you think.

why not use two small ones at 90 degrees etc. thanks for your comments

i'm at joedupont@juno.com.. we may be neighbors some day. any pictures of your place?

  • You need 10 acres to build in rural Texas with few utilities. There are building laws to keep Texas from looking like a Mexican colonia. Deal with a reputable realtor and it is more like 500-1000 a acre (with road access). I own 10 acres in Hudspeth County it is just free range for cattle now. That is a small "cabin" why not use a 30 or 40 ft container?

  • why are they noy being used in hatai

  • Van Horn, Texas an EXCELLENT place to buy 5 Acres for $500???? Are you CRAZY? This is close to the Mexican border!!! Your acreage is going to have hundreds of Illegal Aliens walking across it a month, many acting as mules (carrying drugs), some are armed. The gang warfare is 100% out of control - 72 people were killed in one attack in Aug 2010. WAKE UP!

  • @angurisloud this was made in 2009

  • @angurisloud if they came on my land after passing my nice signs in their native language I'd blow there fucking brains out

  • @angurisloud WAKE UP! not every mexican is a cartel member, or in a gang.

    don't be lame.

  • wow, nice video of an incorrect drawings.... this is an ad...

  • That layout is crap. If the unit is 20 ft long, the bed should take up a third of the space unless he's a midget. How does the plumbing work?

  • @folbbuilds

You are correct, but the drawing has dimensions on it and the length is shown as 28 feet. The video is incorrect.

  • Defective audio renders video useless.

  • be freakin esier build a stick house and lot less hassle

  • thi sguys sounds like the buzzrds from lonny tunes cartoons..."da....duhh dees holmes, duh...is shipping tianers duhhhhh".

  • @trex65ghia...I guess you are perfect in every way then huh, little boy?

What kind of idiot would make fun of the way someone talks. You must be a real sick individual.

  • i have a question, how much did it cost to complete the project (including all materials, permits, etc)?

  • Thank you for the video Joseph.

Kevin is onto some good details with the side entry door. It makes the layout much more comfortable Can you make another update video with more construction details?

Mikey Sklar made good headway when he sprayed papercrete stucco on his containers for the insulation. My biggest challenge so far with container cabins is making them thermally comfortable and not sweat with temperature. What solutions have you found?

    Best regards,

    Nolan Scheid - Mortarsprayer

  • god you are boring

  • up here we make drive through bussinesses out of them ,,, like cigarette shacks ,,, and we are alot farther north ,,, and they work well 8 ]

  • Buddy: is totally necesary to use air conditioning in this kind of construction...I mean, if my unit isn't in a hot place?...

  • curious, what do you use to cut out the doors and windows?

  • Plasma torch.

  • possibly a plasma cutter?

  • do you guys have plan for a 48' container?

  • UNITS ARE 8 X 20,NOT 8 X 28 FEET.

  • I think he modified it to make it 20,and not 28

  • Pecos... a "beautiful" place to put a cabin? Come on, I'm a Texan and I wouldn't call it beautiful... cheap, yes... but not beautiful. The hill country or some place in East Texas.... OK, that's beuatiful
