Looks it did during the war when my mother and I visited. I desperately wanted to go across from East to West Looe, (this was in the days of the rowing ferries, (four-man whale-boats if I remember correctly,), but my mother wouldn't let me go. I have since forgiven her since I have been able to indulge my liking for rough sailing in later years. Love Conrwall!

I remember this when we visited Looe railway station. The tracks were almost in danger of being covered in water since they are right next to the river.

We lived in Looe for a year and the best thing that could happen to the place would be for it to get washed into the sea. The crabs are friendlier than the people.

and yesterday night there was a hell bad storm!!!

it was 80 miles an houhor wind and are lampost was nearley falling down.
