Why would they be sarcastic? It's fucking obvious that men and women are different. I'm a tomboy, and shit, even I like shopping. The girl villians steal, so if they have the chance to take something to make them aesthetically more pleasing, why not. It's not sexism, it's a fact- Everyone likes to look good.

I know plenty of women who don't like shopping, and I know plenty of men who enjoy it. Showing females being concerned solely with beauty is stereotyping, not to mention lazy writting.

Ever think the title was "Girl's Night Out" because that's more or less what it was? None of the male heroes or villains were around, it was just the five girls.

As for the shopping thing, Ivy's always been vain, and Harley's always loved getting new things (not that she ever seems to keep them). Livewire's more in it for the chaos and entertainment, and always has been. She's got no reason to steal any of the clothes anyway, she can make her own costume.

Do you know why Ivy and Harley like shopping? Because the male writer who created them decided that that's what girls do. Lazy writting and lazy thinking.

And might I ask just where you've obtained that information? Where the creator decided that they should go shopping because "that's what girls do." Otherwise, I'm going to once again take it as a sign of someone who's made common sense take a backseat to irrational thought and a desire to stir up conflict in one form or another.
