@Jormungandr69 The magnums are slightly faster and probably a lot louder with a ton more flash. My theory was that I want maximum penetration potential in the loudest and brightest flashing package as possible from a mini revolver.
my brother just got 1 for his EDC the asshole wont let me take a look at it cause i wont give him 1 of my beretta like givaway a 500.00 gun noway he dossent even kno how to clean a gun.
I carry a 22 magnum as a back-up and found that it is a suitable worse case scenario weapons and why do any of us carry a firearm? That's right. Worse case scenario.
@JORDANSAGESVLOG I love carrying this gun for the simple fact that I don't like to carry guns at all. I can carry this little revolver and not notice any bulk or any weight on me at all. It's like I'm not carrying anything and like you said, if the worse case happens, I am prepared with a gun and no one wants to get shot by any gun, so as far as I am concerned it's adequate for self defense. We are in complete agreement. Thanks for the comment.
@felipegarciacastillo The gun on the left was about $100 used and the gun on the right was $209 new. Thanks for watching and especially for commenting.
These little novelty guns are well made, but anything else would be better to carry. .
If you really want to get depressed, check out NAA's own chronograph tests , the 22 Mag is really crippled by the inch and a half barrel.
A small pocket auto with a 2 3/4" barrel does as well ballistically with 22LR and is just as easy to hide, much easier to shoot. And a lot cheaper to shoot as well.
@Blahblobify I have been looking at a Keltec .32 or something along those lines. I love the Taurus and Beretta .22 pocket autos but they are a bit bulky for pocket carry. I just love how light weight this little NAA is though.
Another option I would go for is the NAA auto pistols but they are really up there in price. They look a lot like the old Seecamp .32 auto loading pistols, which I think are very nice looking guns.
Yeah I have a Taurus PT-22, it fits in the pocket pretty well, doesn't print unless the pants material is really thin, and mine is 100% reliable with Stingers, surprisingly accurate for it's size. When I'm out at night I keep it in my jacket pocket with my hand on it, it's a split second to draw and fire.
@Blahblobify I'd love to own a PT-22. I'd probably still just end up carrying this little thing most of the time though. I actually hate carrying things in my pockets and do not like to carry guns at all really. This NAA weighs less than 6 ounces. I forget I have it it's so light weight. I know it's not a fast draw type of gun, especially when it's in my pocket, but it really is comfortable to carry.
@eXeyv3 I own a Glock 23 and obviously this gun as well. Automatics can jam is all I am saying. Revolvers have to break in order to jam assuming you're using ammo that is not defective.
@jboritzki sure a glock can jam but this is a .22
and iv seen is fail to fire in many videos the fact is what you said was not correct. if you were to say it about a more reliable revolver i would have nothing to say.
dude your crazy i promise you that a glock is more reliable buddy im only 16 and i promise you ive shoot own and know more about pistols than you do....im freaking glock kimber and springfield tester and have been since i was 14 !!!!
@swagga22100 When you block the ejection port and fire a Glock, does it jam? Revolvers won't jam. Your opinions are welcome, just be nice and try to be honest.
Ok, you know Daddy taught you that a gun is always loaded and point that gun only at what you want to kill all the time. So when you're putting it on the safety notch, don't hold it the same way, if you slip on the hammer you'll blow a hole in your hand, his left hand was infront of the barrel on his safety notch demonstration. Just hold it slightly differently.
@Delticola The gun is unloaded and being shown and discussed. It is alright to be in front of the barrel only when it is sure the gun is unloaded because it has been checked. In this case, the bullets for both pistols is sitting on the table and I am sure they're unloaded because I checked them. To put your mind at ease, I am very safe with firearms and promote firearms safety. I believe I have another video where I show how to safely load and unload this pistol.
@jboritzki Don't worry, my mind is at ease. And you're fine and dandy on safety, I'm just saying folks won't get accidently shot if they follow what their fathers taught them, treat guns as if they are loaded all the time and never point the muzzle of the gun at anything you don't want to kill or destroy. The safety notch procedure is for the LOADED gun, so why not practice as if it's loaded, ie, no hand infront of the muzzle.
@Delticola No one likes the guy who shoves his 2 cents into everyones snatch. OF COURSE it's always safe to treat a gun like its loaded, and OF COURSE its smart to not point at things you dont mind destroying..but he was doing a review of the gun for pete's sake...
@MarchingBlueNGold Thanks for sticking up for me man. I seem to get a lot of people who scour the video for anything they can construe as wrong or incorrect gun handling, even though it's clear the gun is unloaded and being reviewed, just so they can type out a complaint.
@jboritzki No problem lol...Ive been unsafely handling guns for the past 18 years and ive turned out fine lol. I really like this gun though..a guy that i shoot SASS with has this, and its just an awesome little pocket gun. Now that im of age i want to carry a gun, but i dont want to break bank buying one, and i dont want to go out and carry some full size glock
@jboritzki I promise I was not trying to type out a complaint. I promise I am not that type of guy. You've got folks that will literally look at your video for a demonstration and utilize what you show. I do it for how to dissassemble a 1911 .45 or a CZ 82. I use the video. I only wanted to point out how to be even more safe. I just sent MarchingBlueNGold a video of someone handing off a Makarov in Russia to his friend, obviously he handed off an unloaded gun right? Bullet in Brain.
@Delticola I get the feeling now that you were just pointing out how important safety is and I'm in complete agreement with you there. I don't mean to single you out.
@MarchingBlueNGold Thanks for giving me a visual of a snatch. The one your thinking of, is it shaved or hairy. A state trooper roomate of someone I know put his service gun in my brothers safe and while he did so he handled my cousins .45 (my cousin is currently living in Canada). The state trooper left it cocked and locked. My brother noticed this, tried to decock it, not familiar with this 45, the hammer spring was really strong. My brother blew a hole in the fuel tank of his Mustang. OK
@Delticola I dont really see what this has to do with me..? Even though thats probably a fake story, he shouldnt of been handling a gun that he knows nothing about. The guns just not magically going to go off, especially since its physically impossible for a 1911 to fire if the slide safety is on... And it was shaved, btw.
@MarchingBlueNGold So my point is, if you always point a gun at a safe direction, never wave your hand infront of the gun while you are trying to operate the gun then you'll never kill yourself, or someone else and you won't get shot. For pete's sake...........if you disagree with me then I wish you all the luck in the world. And I stand my ground and position on this issue, always keep the muzzle of the firearm in a safe direction, especially when handling it and operating the mechanisms.
@Delticola Do you also check your toilet for bombs before you take a crap? I know the guns not going to go off when its obviously been checked...I know how to safely handle guns... This man is by himself handling a gun he obviously knows how to use, and its obvious its unloaded because the shell are on the table and you can see the empty cylinders. I completely understand being safe..ive personally seen someone dislocate a shoulder because he double loaded a shotgun..
@Delticola Part of the video is showing a person how to lock the hammer into the SAFE position by putting the hammer into the notch..how is he going to show that without maybe aiming the empty gun at his hand or pointing in his direction. Seriously man, go troll gun videos somewhere else. This man obviously has some experience with guns and knows that risk and what not. He not going to forget gun safety just because he made this video that showed him being " Unsafe" with it...
@fatlovins82 It depends on your area as far as cost goes, but around here they are about $100-$120 new and $60-$100 used depending on condition and caliber.
@xaioguy73 This is the .22 magnum version. .22 shorts are very short, longs a little longer, and long rifle or LR is pretty much the standard these days and is a little longer than the long.
There's something on the NAA website about a New Gun Warranty Repair if your gun was made less than two years ago because of functional problems; Did you have any problems with your mini revolver?
@damachofrmBC I did finally have a problem with the cylinder rotating after about 400 rounds. I sent it back and got it returned to me with everything but the frame replaced. They did refinish the frame for free too. Customer service was great.
i got me a lil 2 shot like you got but with a brown handle its badass quick question 22 mag can fit in any 22 gun or you need the rite type get back at me on that one
@kingd3001 It's just my opinion but I think in most cases a blank gun will work because if an attacker sees or hears a gun going off, they will 99 out of 100 times run away. That being said, that 100th time, the .22mag is not the worst, but it is far from the best. I just keep CCI 40 grain solids in this because the bullets come out of this short barrel too slow to make a hollow point expand and I doubt it will get much penetration, so I stick with solids.
@Tank50111 I really appreciate that bud. No, I only have the magnum cylinder. I do plan to send it in to get a conversion cylinder so I can shoot long rifles and shorts out of it.
Man, I am so tired of seeing arguments on every vid I look up about calibers not being "powerful" enough and what have you. "Why would you buy a .22 when you can get a .45?" and the like. Well. maybe I have a .45. Most people that have a gun have more than one. People that talk trash on .22s instantly label themselves as noobs.
@Blanckmeister I agree. A gun is a gun and almost no one wants a gun fired at them. The odds anyone will need a gun for defense are very low anyway so I never wanted to carry a huge hunk of metal all the time. When I worked in the ghetto where the violent crime rate was high I carried a service pistol but given where I live and work now, this gun is more than adequate.
Im not going to argue with you that the .22 isnt powerful, especially considering the m4/m16 and m249 saw use a 223. But a .45 will stop something (not on cocain or opium) in the first good hit, i dont care who they are. They might not die, but theyll leave you the fuck alone.
@WOODSON71190 "Im not going to argue with you that the .22 isnt powerful, especially considering the m4/m16 and m249 saw use a 223."
More evidence that you THINK U know more about guns that you actually do. .22 magnum may be about the same diameter as the .223 but they're not even close to the same round or the same power.
No offense, but you should learn a lot more about firearms before you go calling people morons in comments. That's childish anyway don't you think?
@WOODSON71190 I carry with a round chambered. It's not unsafe at all. If the safety rules are always followed then there is never a finger on the trigger unless you're shooting and therefore there is no danger in the gun going off. And if it did go off, it would be pointed in a safe direction.
@jboritzki Like I said youre a moron. Guns are what I do for a living and theres always someone who gets hurt from keeping one chambered. Your finger is not a safety mechanism, especially on a revolver. Drop the gun on its hammer and see what happends.
@WOODSON71190 I'm pretty sure you're a liar for a few reasons. #1, almost all modern guns have several safety devices that prevent them from going off by being dropped. Hammer won't go all the way forward, firing pin is blocked unless the trigger is pulled. This particular revolver has safety notches so the hammer is never over a live round in the 1st place. #2 Cops keep guns chambered, & point them at people regularly I might add. U, like it or not, are the main safety. Guns for a living my ass
@WOODSON71190 If Guns were what you did for a living, You would know that. You're profile also says you're 20 so you're not even old enough in most states to buy a handgun yourself. Now, the safety devices I mentioned earlier are not manual safeties. They are things that make the gun safe from going off due to a drop or a parts breakage. Any gunsmith would know this. And dont' tell me you're in the service and that is what makes you an expert, because that in no way makes U an expert on guns.
@WOODSON71190 I think you're just a punk kid that joined the service not long ago and all of a sudden you think you're an expert and want to go online to call people that have more experience with firearms that you have at being a human being, morons because you THINK you know better. U don't know shit kid, all U know is how to talk shit & if you really R in the service, I find that very sad. Sad that amongst the finest soldiers in the world, they let in smart mouthed twits like you.
@HellaFlushEvo Isn't it funny that he says he makes a living with firearms, but don't realize that guns are perfectly safe when they're loaded? Transfer bars, safety notches, firing pin blocks, hammer blocks... He might want to read up about those devices before he goes telling lies.
Hit post on accident. After my first go at it, I have to say. Different animal. These little guns take some practice. I recommend getting both cylinders to save money. Thanks for the great advice in the vid.
Well I just picked up a Balck Widow tonight from D&T arms in Nashville. I popped off about 200 rounds of 22lr and I really like it. I got both cylinders for practice. And after my first go at it
people diss these guns due to accuracy difficulties pertaining to size and sight radius. most defense shootings are at 3-5ft away. if you can't hit the target at that range, stay home.
@45oneshotstop That's true, but the dudes I see around here that dress up like cowboys with the hat and the boots and the belt buckle have very tight jeans on. I don't get it, maybe those are gay cowboys?
@MrRfitz27 I live in a place and work at a place. I don't "need" a gun to be safe. I carry a gun just in case I "need" to defend myself from a violent person. I probably won't be attacked again, but you never know right? Now ask yourself if any normal person that was minding his/her own business, but got murdered or maimed did anything to provoke it. The dead people from mall or work place shootings, they would have been silly to be prepared to defend themselves because what are the odds right?
@MrRfitz27 What guy doesn't carry a knife? They're handy tools for all sorts of cutting tasks. These days I do actually wear out 2 knives a year because I use them a lot at work and home. The bad people that are dangers to good people won't show you or talk to you about what they carry until they have it in your face and threatening you with it. Normal people aren't as irresponsible with guns or knives as the news media and politicians would like people to believe.
@jboritzki that makes sense but it just seemed like you lived in like a real dangerous place or did some crazy job because i used to know this guy that carried a gun at work because he work at a gas station in the ghettos
@MrRfitz27 I started carrying a firearm when I was 18 years old. I lived and worked in a bad area and part of my job was to repo cars in the ghetto. Years later when I lived in a nice area, a guy (probably a crack head) with a baseball bat tried to beat my head in for no reason and without warning. I assume he wanted to rob me but was willing to try to kill me in order to go through my pockets. I didn't carry a guy then because I didn't think I'd need 1 in the nice area. I was wrong.
@coreysblackmon0427 in close quarters, the common defensive range, where the gun is being fired while it is against clothing preventing empty cases from extracting, it is more reliable than an automatic. In all other ways, it's not. And if you bother to read before you made smart ass'd comments, you'd notice it says I pointed at the camera, not at myself.
For those days when I can't dress around my carry gun, I take my LCP. A lot better round than a .22 & still can carry in your pocket. These guns are for fun, not defense.
@RidgeRunner88 They're for fun and defense. A gun doesn't have to be the absolute best gun for defense to be well suited as a defensive weapon. One of these was used by a restaurant owner just after Christmas, in my city, to stop 2 armed robbers from robbing his store. 1 robber took a bullet in the shoulder and they both ran away. a .380 is more powerful and faster, but these do work for defensive guns too.
The professional robber will most likely ask you an "innocent" question first then smack you along side the head with something. The last thing in his sorry life that a robber should see is one of these guns.
I just got a Taurus model 94 UL 2" last Sunday. I bought it for 1) practice (figure if I can get good at a 2" snubby I'll be better with my .45 XD) and 2) carry. After watching MANY reviews of the .22LR and having personal experience with it's lethality, I have to say that it's about right for me to carry. Especially with some of the hotter, more reliable loads like the Stinger. Of course now that I have the 94, I find it VERY heavy for carry. Looks like The Wasp is my next buy.
You made a good choice, the DA 9 shot .22 revolver is still a small gun, easy to conceal or carry in a pocket, and MUCH better than one of these teensy weensy novelty pistols. The NAA is a well made gun, I'm not faulting their quality, but they are just too small to use effectively as a SD weapon.
@kalel01a The weight and the size is why I love this NAA revolver. I really do carry it every single day because I don't notice I have it. I've carried .357, .45ACP, 9mm, etc and it always gets old, I was always aware I had a gun on me. I dont' think the NAA revolver is the best defense weapon in the way or power or speed, but as far as being able to carry it anywhere and never leaving it home because it's too heavy, it's one of the best for that.
You called it Bro... I personally prefer the .22LR for price (not to mention, I have a ridiculous amount of it). But all .22 variations are extremely lethal if used correctly. Not to mention, when fired, these little guns have a HUGE psychological effect (little gun, big bang). That plus the bullet bouncing and fragmenting around in a perps throat or skull is a huge deterrence factor.
@kalel01a That's my theory. They tend to run away when you point, let alone fire at them. It's not the best man stopper by far, but I believe it is good enough for me to carry.
i also heard a .45 only goes about 900 feet per second, however .22s can go faster because of the smaller bullet size, since less energy is needed to propel the lighter bullet.
i don't get why people say .22s are horrible to self defense. it would sure not feel very nice to get shot with a .22, and a head shot would kill someone.
@MrStephen1610 Sorry man, but my guns aren't for sale. I also think it might be illegal for me to sell you a gun even if I did have one for sale because you live in the UK. Aren't guns banned there? The gun on the left cost me $100 used and the gun on the right cost me about $220 new.
I love these things! In a perfect world if I can actually Conceal Carry I would pack a 357 but I figure it would be a hassle!
This is probably the perfect CCW gun because you'll never have an excuse not to carry it around. It's only a .22 but I would take that over a knife 10/10 times 20 on sunday!
@FireArmsResQ I agree man. If a super-mega death ray would fit in my pocket then I'd carry that since those are known for 1 shot stops. This gun is great though. I actually hate carrying a gun or anything else that's bulky and heavy. This is so light and small that I really do not notice that I have it on and no one else knows I'm armed either, so I don't get the stupid questions like "Y R U carrying a gun?"
@bobiscool308 A couple of reasons. I don't own an LCP yet, but I do plan to own one one day and I'll probably carry it a lot. I was planning on making a video on why I think a rimfire is fine for carry. The short version is that most bad guys will run away if they see you have any gun and especially if they see or hear you firing it at them. Violent criminals, 99% of them, are cowards that don't want any kind of a fight out of you and they wont' ask what caliber it is before they run away.
@MadNerf Airsoft kids know nothing about real guns, so they always make idiotic statements like "a 45 hollow point from 5 or so feet away can take a mans arm off".
Thanks for the very good video. I am also interested in a NAA gun but am not sure which one to buy. What advantages does the 1 1/8" have over the 1 5/8" barrel?
@Tank50111 Thanks for watching, man. I've never used the 1 5/8" version, but I would guess that the longer barrel and sight radius would make it slightly more accurate, but not by much at all. When I got this gun, I wanted the Magnum revolver in the smallest package possible for pocket carry. I would say that whichever version you like the looks of and feel of the most is the one you should go with. I don't think the barrel length makes much difference. I think I would be just as happy w/ either
@TheJomogogo I do agree that this is not the best self defense weapon, but I also think it is one of the best concealable and unintrusive firearms on the market. It can be thrown in a pocket and forgotten about, unlike my Sig SP2022. The Sig's bulk and weight make you aware that it's always there. The NAA is better than nothing, it is deadly, it's very loud and expels a huge mussel flash that an attacker will see in low light or darkness. This gun will give you the chance to survive an attack.
I'd rather have a 9 shot 22 auto, the beretta or taurus are so small and flat they are just as easy to carry in a pocket unseen and are a lot better than a single action NAA which is impossible to get out and cock in a hurry. Too small too small tooooooo small
@TheJomogogo I may replace this little gun one day with a Keltec P3AT one day, but until then, this gun is good enough for me. In fact, it's the only gun I carry these days. I live in a decent neighborhood (it's been going downhill for the last 20 years but I think I got another 15 to 20 before it's a total ghetto), I work in a nice area, and I don't associate with unruly people. When I go in a bad area, I take a full sized gun. I'll do a video drawing and firing this gun and see how fast I am.
@jboritzki I know right. I hate how everyone bad mouths the 9 mil and .380 when they are more than adequate for self defense. I find it retarded that most people would carry a .45 acp. I mean most of them don't live in gangland so there really is no point in carrying such big loads. Alot of them forget that no matter how good your bullet is at killing, it is all pointless if you miss.
@34601k " I mean most of them don't live in gangland" lol. I like how you put that. That's true too. It's cool if someone wants to carry a larger gun. That don't bother me a bit. I've carried a 45, 357, 380, 9mm, 22lr and 22mag before. When I painted cars for drug dealers in the ghetto I had a 45 or 357, but I don't do that anymore. I work with Indy500 and NASCAR champs and in a good area. My city has had about 20 murders in the last 100 years. My car is not worth stealing. I'm pretty safe here.
@jboritzki Yeah same while I hate the gun control here in California I have to admit nowadays only the more serious crimes are committed with guns. Yeah I don't mind people carrying larger guns you know more power to them, literally lol. But I don't appreciate people bad mouthing my Bersa 380 and my g26 because they are good guns and even better with practice :)
@TheJomogogo Then your a dumbass because 3 shots to the chest with .22 wmr will most likely down the average man, and if not it would be enough to dissuade almost any attacker. You need to be accurate. An inaccurate .45 acp shooter will be killed be an accurate .380/9 mil shooter any day.
@SweStuff94 I think I know what you are asking... A covered or bobbed hammer will make it less likely to get snagged on the pocket. I've never seen a different hammer on one of these, but that don't mean they don't exist.
By the way, my son was just in Stockholm. He really enjoyed the visit there.
@jboritzki Yeahh :) And i can understand way he like hes visit here in Sweden, Sweden isent bad But to strickt gun laws :( But its still a Good contry :P

Yeah I have a Taurus PT-22, it fits in the pocket pretty well, doesn't print unless the pants material is really thin, and mine is 100% reliable with Stingers, surprisingly accurate for it's size. @Blahblobify I'd love to own a PT-22. I'd probably still just end up carrying this little thing most of the time though. I actually hate carrying things in my pockets and do not like to carry guns at all really. This NAA weighs less than 6 ounces. I forget I have it it's so light weight.

@Jayman03021 Blow it up with a Glock? I'm not sure what you mean.
jboritzki 4 months ago
Ok, you know Daddy taught you that a gun is always loaded and point that gun only at what you want to kill all the time. So when you're putting it on the safety notch, don't hold it the same way, if you slip on the hammer you'll blow a hole in your hand, his left hand was infront of the barrel on his safety notch demonstration. Just hold it slightly differently.
Delticola 5 months ago
@Delticola The gun is unloaded and being shown and discussed. It is alright to be in front of the barrel only when it is sure the gun is unloaded because it has been checked. In this case, the bullets for both pistols is sitting on the table and I am sure they're unloaded because I checked them. To put your mind at ease, I am very safe with firearms and promote firearms safety. I believe I have another video where I show how to safely load and unload this pistol.
jboritzki 5 months ago
@jboritzki Don't worry, my mind is at ease. And you're fine and dandy on safety, I'm just saying folks won't get accidently shot if they follow what their fathers taught them, treat guns as if they are loaded all the time and never point the muzzle of the gun at anything you don't want to kill or destroy. The safety notch procedure is for the LOADED gun, so why not practice as if it's loaded, ie, no hand infront of the muzzle.
Delticola 5 months ago
@Delticola I agree. Gun safety is very important.
jboritzki 5 months ago
@Delticola No one likes the guy who shoves his 2 cents into everyones snatch. OF COURSE it's always safe to treat a gun like its loaded, and OF COURSE its smart to not point at things you dont mind destroying..but he was doing a review of the gun for pete's sake...
MarchingBlueNGold 5 months ago
@MarchingBlueNGold Thanks for sticking up for me man. I seem to get a lot of people who scour the video for anything they can construe as wrong or incorrect gun handling, even though it's clear the gun is unloaded and being reviewed, just so they can type out a complaint.
jboritzki 5 months ago
@jboritzki No problem lol...Ive been unsafely handling guns for the past 18 years and ive turned out fine lol. I really like this gun though..a guy that i shoot SASS with has this, and its just an awesome little pocket gun. Now that im of age i want to carry a gun, but i dont want to break bank buying one, and i dont want to go out and carry some full size glock
MarchingBlueNGold 5 months ago
@jboritzki I promise I was not trying to type out a complaint. I promise I am not that type of guy. You've got folks that will literally look at your video for a demonstration and utilize what you show. I do it for how to dissassemble a 1911 .45 or a CZ 82. I use the video. I only wanted to point out how to be even more safe. I just sent MarchingBlueNGold a video of someone handing off a Makarov in Russia to his friend, obviously he handed off an unloaded gun right? Bullet in Brain.
Delticola 5 months ago
@Delticola I get the feeling now that you were just pointing out how important safety is and I'm in complete agreement with you there. I don't mean to single you out.
jboritzki 5 months ago
@MarchingBlueNGold Thanks for giving me a visual of a snatch. The one your thinking of, is it shaved or hairy. A state trooper roomate of someone I know put his service gun in my brothers safe and while he did so he handled my cousins .45 (my cousin is currently living in Canada). The state trooper left it cocked and locked. My brother noticed this, tried to decock it, not familiar with this 45, the hammer spring was really strong. My brother blew a hole in the fuel tank of his Mustang. OK
Delticola 5 months ago
@Delticola I dont really see what this has to do with me..? Even though thats probably a fake story, he shouldnt of been handling a gun that he knows nothing about. The guns just not magically going to go off, especially since its physically impossible for a 1911 to fire if the slide safety is on... And it was shaved, btw.
MarchingBlueNGold 5 months ago
@MarchingBlueNGold So my point is, if you always point a gun at a safe direction, never wave your hand infront of the gun while you are trying to operate the gun then you'll never kill yourself, or someone else and you won't get shot. For pete's sake...........if you disagree with me then I wish you all the luck in the world. And I stand my ground and position on this issue, always keep the muzzle of the firearm in a safe direction, especially when handling it and operating the mechanisms.
Delticola 5 months ago
@Delticola Do you also check your toilet for bombs before you take a crap? I know the guns not going to go off when its obviously been checked...I know how to safely handle guns... This man is by himself handling a gun he obviously knows how to use, and its obvious its unloaded because the shell are on the table and you can see the empty cylinders. I completely understand being safe..ive personally seen someone dislocate a shoulder because he double loaded a shotgun..
MarchingBlueNGold 5 months ago
@Delticola Part of the video is showing a person how to lock the hammer into the SAFE position by putting the hammer into the notch..how is he going to show that without maybe aiming the empty gun at his hand or pointing in his direction. Seriously man, go troll gun videos somewhere else. This man obviously has some experience with guns and knows that risk and what not. He not going to forget gun safety just because he made this video that showed him being " Unsafe" with it...

kingd3001 9 months ago
@kingd3001 It's just my opinion but I think in most cases a blank gun will work because if an attacker sees or hears a gun going off, they will 99 out of 100 times run away. That being said, that 100th time, the .22mag is not the worst, but it is far from the best. I just keep CCI 40 grain solids in this because the bullets come out of this short barrel too slow to make a hollow point expand and I doubt it will get much penetration, so I stick with solids.

Blanckmeister 9 months ago
@Blanckmeister I agree. A gun is a gun and almost no one wants a gun fired at them. The odds anyone will need a gun for defense are very low anyway so I never wanted to carry a huge hunk of metal all the time. When I worked in the ghetto where the violent crime rate was high I carried a service pistol but given where I live and work now, this gun is more than adequate.
jboritzki 9 months ago
Im not going to argue with you that the .22 isnt powerful, especially considering the m4/m16 and m249 saw use a 223. But a .45 will stop something (not on cocain or opium) in the first good hit, i dont care who they are. They might not die, but theyll leave you the fuck alone.
WOODSON71190 10 months ago
@WOODSON71190 "Im not going to argue with you that the .22 isnt powerful, especially considering the m4/m16 and m249 saw use a 223."
More evidence that you THINK U know more about guns that you actually do. .22 magnum may be about the same diameter as the .223 but they're not even close to the same round or the same power.
No offense, but you should learn a lot more about firearms before you go calling people morons in comments. That's childish anyway don't you think?
jboritzki 10 months ago
If you carry a gun with a round chambered youre a moron.
WOODSON71190 10 months ago
@WOODSON71190 I carry with a round chambered. It's not unsafe at all. If the safety rules are always followed then there is never a finger on the trigger unless you're shooting and therefore there is no danger in the gun going off. And if it did go off, it would be pointed in a safe direction.
jboritzki 10 months ago
@jboritzki Like I said youre a moron. Guns are what I do for a living and theres always someone who gets hurt from keeping one chambered. Your finger is not a safety mechanism, especially on a revolver. Drop the gun on its hammer and see what happends.
WOODSON71190 10 months ago
@WOODSON71190 I'm pretty sure you're a liar for a few reasons. #1, almost all modern guns have several safety devices that prevent them from going off by being dropped. Hammer won't go all the way forward, firing pin is blocked unless the trigger is pulled. This particular revolver has safety notches so the hammer is never over a live round in the 1st place. #2 Cops keep guns chambered, & point them at people regularly I might add. U, like it or not, are the main safety. Guns for a living my ass
jboritzki 10 months ago
@WOODSON71190 If Guns were what you did for a living, You would know that. You're profile also says you're 20 so you're not even old enough in most states to buy a handgun yourself. Now, the safety devices I mentioned earlier are not manual safeties. They are things that make the gun safe from going off due to a drop or a parts breakage. Any gunsmith would know this. And dont' tell me you're in the service and that is what makes you an expert, because that in no way makes U an expert on guns.
jboritzki 10 months ago
@WOODSON71190 I think you're just a punk kid that joined the service not long ago and all of a sudden you think you're an expert and want to go online to call people that have more experience with firearms that you have at being a human being, morons because you THINK you know better. U don't know shit kid, all U know is how to talk shit & if you really R in the service, I find that very sad. Sad that amongst the finest soldiers in the world, they let in smart mouthed twits like you.

MrRfitz27 1 year ago
@MrRfitz27 I live in a place and work at a place. I don't "need" a gun to be safe. I carry a gun just in case I "need" to defend myself from a violent person. I probably won't be attacked again, but you never know right? Now ask yourself if any normal person that was minding his/her own business, but got murdered or maimed did anything to provoke it. The dead people from mall or work place shootings, they would have been silly to be prepared to defend themselves because what are the odds right?

Normal people aren't as irresponsible with guns or knives as the news media and politicians would like people to believe.
jboritzki 1 year ago

Looks like The Wasp is my next buy.
kalel01a 1 year ago
@kalel01a
You made a good choice, the DA 9 shot .22 revolver is still a small gun, easy to conceal or carry in a pocket, and MUCH better than one of these teensy weensy novelty pistols. The NAA is a well made gun, I'm not faulting their quality, but they are just too small to use effectively as a SD weapon.
TheJomogogo 1 year ago
@kalel01a The weight and the size is why I love this NAA revolver. I really do carry it every single day because I don't notice I have it. I've carried .357, .45ACP, 9mm, etc and it always gets old, I was always aware I had a gun on me. I dont' think the NAA revolver is the best defense weapon in the way or power or speed, but as far as being able to carry it anywhere and never leaving it home because it's too heavy, it's one of the best for that.
jboritzki 1 year ago
I just got a Taurus Model 94 UL 2".
kalel01a 1 year ago
You called it Bro... I personally prefer the .22LR for price (not to mention, I have a ridiculous amount of it). But all .22 variations are extremely lethal if used correctly. Not to mention, when fired, these little guns have a HUGE psychological effect (little gun, big bang). That plus the bullet bouncing and fragmenting around in a perps throat or skull is a huge deterrence factor.
kalel01a 1 year ago
@kalel01a That's my theory. They tend to run away when you point, let alone fire at them. It's not the best man stopper by far, but I believe it is good enough for me to carry.
jboritzki 1 year ago
i also heard a .45 only goes about 900 feet per second, however .22s can go faster because of the smaller bullet size, since less energy is needed to propel the lighter bullet.
busyhands94 1 year ago
i don't get why people say .22s are horrible to self defense. it would sure not feel very nice to get shot with a .22, and a head shot would kill someone.

Tank50111 1 year ago
@Tank50111 Thanks for watching, man. I've never used the 1 5/8" version, but I would guess that the longer barrel and sight radius would make it slightly more accurate, but not by much at all. When I got this gun, I wanted the Magnum revolver in the smallest package possible for pocket carry. I would say that whichever version you like the looks of and feel of the most is the one you should go with. I don't think the barrel length makes much difference. These tiny guns are very well made, high quality novelties.
But they are not a serious weapon, they are too small to be handled effectively and used for self defense.
In their heart the owners of these things know I'm right.
TheJomogogo 1 year ago
@TheJomogogo I do agree that this is not the best self defense weapon, but I also think it is one of the best concealable and unintrusive firearms on the market. It can be thrown in a pocket and forgotten about, unlike my Sig SP2022. The Sig's bulk and weight make you aware that it's always there. The NAA is better than nothing, it is deadly, it's very loud and expels a huge mussel flash that an attacker will see in low light or darkness. This gun will give you the chance to survive an attack.
jboritzki 1 year ago
@jboritzki
I'd rather have a 9 shot 22 auto, the beretta or taurus are so small and flat they are just as easy to carry in a pocket unseen and are a lot better than a single action NAA which is impossible to get out and cock in a hurry. Too small too small tooooooo small
TheJomogogo 1 year ago

Uhhhmmm...I'd rather have a broken beer bottle in my hand.

@34601k You're exactly right. Any gun is better than no gun, no matter what the ".45ACP or you're stupid" crowd believes.

@jboritzki Isent a a revolver with in build/coverd hammer so its not geting jamd when u fire out from ur pocket better?

@SweStuff94 I think I know what you are asking... A covered or bobbed hammer will make it less likely to get snagged on the pocket. I've never seen a different hammer on one of these, but that don't mean they don't exist.
By the way, my son was just in Stockholm. He really enjoyed the visit there.
