THANKS! Had to move an existing WinXP image to another computer. Imaged from the drive to a second drive in the 'old' computer and then reset the IDE and SATA drivers prior to moving that second drive to the 'new' computer. Great tip!
dude you area syaing DO THE SAME THING FOR THE OTHER TWO DEVICE?? What device, YOu seem to have only one labtop connected. then two monitors. You should had forgotten how the ACTUAL CABLE CONNECTION you got going men
I dont get what is going on on this video. There is labtop with no scren. Then there is a computer LCD, which i dont know if that is from the labtop from no screen, or from a normal PC TOWER. Then there is a labtop with no CD drive, so i wonder WHICH comptuer he has on the monitor.
Why all this comptuer videos the guy who records them forgets to tell how the mores important part, which is THE BIGINING< where are you doing thsi from which comptuer? how do connect the two comptuers// jeez
i relly enjoyed your video...it was very inform able...i have a question for you...how do you install a new os on your laptop that doesnt have a screen like yours...i have the same setup you have with the external monitor...im having some problems....it gets through the first steps but after that it freezes and doesnt do anything....can you please send some assistance my way.....windows xp pro....thanks...mrhatcher0911@yahoo
@mhatcher0911 the idea behind it is to remove all drivers so system goes back as it was just installed windows. it should work as video shows, but one thing, i dunno how to "ensure" that the drivers are removed.
well i gave this a try and when i put the hard drive back into the original computer it gave me the message "A disk error has occured". oh well, thx anyways

Windows 7 has a USB installer program on the disc, so you can install from USB.
There are other ways of getting the proper XP and Vista discs to installable USB too.
Might that be an option as well?
