I have an Alesis control pad but im using fruity loops as a midi source. It plays fine through the computer speakers but how do I set the sounds in the control pad so that I dont have to use the midi cable? Im sorry Im really lost, maybe you can help me
nice sounds - love that thick snare sound.. i should have one of these later today - gonna use it with a live kit. that is a 'control pad' not a 'performance pad' right? - but i guess if you customized the sounds it doesn't really make any difference
Nice jam dood, get ya a snare pad and bass pedal, for more realistic feel.I have one with my td 4's and I love it,Playing along with loops,Im the best drummer around!Everybody wants a hot sounding drummer! I get offers every time we play a gig.I know play in 2 bands.
Hey nice video! I hear a lot of people complaining about the Control Pad that they can't adjust it so the pads won't trigger one another. What has your experience been with it as it seems you can play it without any problems. Thanks!
I have had absolutely no problem with that. I dont know if everyone is just setting it up wrong, but you can control the sensitivity of each pad and the lowest setting (least sensitive) i can still play very quiet.
hahaha, great video man, but someone seems to have a back ache around 2:42 xD
once again, great video. Btw, I am thinking about buying an Alesis control pad and do you think it works fine with logic express or garageband? Like, using the drum sounds that come with it's sound library or is it better buying Battery all together?
I'm thinking about getting 2 of these and Superior Drummer 2.0 for recording and gigging use to replace a Yamaha DTXplorer and Performance Pad. Is it worth the buy?

@Drummerkid74 i hear superior drummer 2.0 is the grand daddy of them all so i would say its most likely worth it
