  • i love making these, but instead, i collect beer bottle caps and use those instead :) all of them are different - my husband is in the navy, so he travels around quite a bit - he always saves me the tops from different countries. i'm not a girly girl, and i don't like foofy frilly stuff, but i love beer, so as an alternate version, that's how i do it, haha.

  • were did u get the gloss

  • I found this while looking for ideas on making a bottle cap magnet. Nice video! I wanted to mention two things you and others might find useful. 1) Besides eBay you can find unused bottle caps at your local home brew supply store. I'm a home brewer myself and have plenty - save on the cost of shipping! 2) I found a business that prints custom designs on bottle caps. They do a great job and are very inexpensive.

  • Can u use hot glue instead of the glossy stuff

  • cool!can ylou make a torturial for ather easy cool crafts.

  • Excellent Video Tutorial..these look like a LOT of fun to make!! Gonna give it a try :)

  • can you use the modpodge as resin or glaze

  • how can you make your own modpodge, i live in australia and the craft stores near us don't sell it????

  • do you have problems with the magnets being set too far into the bottle caps, and then scratching the surfaces of what ever they stick to? I have tried putting a 1/4" hex nut in between the cap and the magnet.. And I use hot glue..

  • Nothing reminds you more than 10 budlight bottle caps stuck on your fridge to remind yo of stuff :)

  • ware can you get the glossy stuff

  • were can you get the glossy stuff

    ?

  • where did you buy the round magnets?

  • @lanemeiz my walmart used to sell them, but michaels also carried them. I'm sure hobby lobby, ac moore and joanns do also.

  • THanks for the video-its really great. How long does one bottle of glossy accents last, like how many bottle caps?

  • @PinkVanillaCream one bottle canbe up to 75 bottle caps or more depending on how much of a dome you want on them.

  • What can you do to get rid of the air bubbles?

  • @onecheapchic use a stick pin or saftey pin to pop the bubbles or to drag them off to ends.

  • My daughter is having an awful time with these. She is using the inside of the caps and some 1 inch discs cut from from photo paper. She has used Modge Podge, and a couple of other things and the color runs on the discs. Any thoughts??

  • @ATHOMEDAD777 @craftasticme photo paper works best when printing your own images. give this a try and see it if helps.

  • So cool

  • I have a question....can you use photos instead of paper and still use the glossy accents on top of the photos?

  • @Wamplsh yep you sure can! I printed off 1.25 inch photos og my pets for thier dog sitter board. I've also used photos of my husband and I. It's a great way to personalize them.

  • @craftasticme photo paper works best when printing your own images. give this a try and see it if helps.

  • @Wamplsh yep just make sure to use photo paper.

  • is that glow in the datk

  • @sunnyho no but I'm sure you can find a way to make it glow

  • ok thank's do u know where you can buy the bottle caps ?

  • You can find them on ebay. Just search new or unused bottle caps.

  • can u find the glossy accent the "1 circle puncher the nodge podge at hobbie lobby? or anywhere else? if sooo please comment back to see where i my be able to find these thank you and have a good day

  • You can find Glossy Accents & Mod Podge at Hobby Lobby. I purchased the 1" circle punch at JoAnn's however they may be availiable wherever Fiskar items are sold.

  • What does it look like after it has finished drying? The glossy accent stuff that was used on top looks hazy. I'd like to see how it looks after it has dried.

  • where do you get the bottlecaps

  • you can buy them online

just search them up on google

  • very nice! clear, concise video! you should do more tutorials! on anything! really - you have the knack for this!

    keep up the good work!

  • Thank you very much. Congratulations.

  • GREAT> But you need to tell us how to put them on neckles?

  • This is a great tutorial. Thank you!

  • What kind of spray paint did you use? I just tried paint markers, but the light colors don't work very well.

  • have you used diamond glaze bofore? Instead of the glossy accents.

  • Only Glossy Accents. I can't find Diamonf Glaze Locally

  • I really like that punch too! Where did you get it? I have trouble with my hands and this looks like it would work well. Also, is the stuff you use Mod Podge or Modge Podge? It sounds like you are saying Modge Podge, which is it? Thanks for you help!

  • It's Mod Podge you can find at any craft store in the adhesive area. Walmart also carries it. The circle punch is a 1in circle punch from Fiskar. You can find it at Joann's.

  • That is a great looking one-inch puncher. Looks a lot more heavy-duty than the one I found.
