"mess in paris airport". So Euronews is assuming that airports, being serious official bureaus, need formally behaving people, and as someone beging to smile, exercise or otherwise behave like on leave, the situation becomes a mess for the airport? And why would this point of view of the airport only be the main news instead of spending time in the queue?
@teemuruskeepaa The point is, why do we need to see some deep-seated social problem in a video of people having fun in an airport with a bad title. That's a waste of time.
@Danteax I didn't say the social problem is people having fun. The bad title is the social problem because this media is powerful and it is spreading the ideas of corporations. Meanwhile, you are trying to behave like a normally socialized person, by supporting Euronews. Ha haa
@teemuruskeepaa That's kind of retarded. And FYI, there are only two news outlets I support here in the states. So naturally, I'd rather watch something else that doesn't have BS commentary in it.
@Danteax Yeah, Euronews supports corporations, you support that and it all falls into place as blind consumers like you do as you are raised to behave. Unfortunately you are totally unequipped to participate in this critical media discussion, because what exists is necessary for you.
@teemuruskeepaa You are nothing but a judgmental moron. You have no idea what I do and do not support, and you only believe you are "equipped" to handle some pseudo-debate because your head is too inflated to see anything else. You may have some good points of view, but the fact that you label everyone who doesn't think exactly like you or doesn't give a crap what "media outlet" some cool video comes from is really ironic. Seriously, you really have issues.
@Danteax Yes, I labelled you and it's not nice, but that was an appropriate response to how you dissed all my point of views as retarded and BS. Do you deny writing that? And why would you suddenly be in a position to have authority over everything in this chat room? Bitch.
@teemuruskeepaa Nope, I don't deny writing that. Read the comment of yours before that, though, and you can connect that I called your statement "kind of retarded." I said nothing about your points of view or the over-arcing phenomenon of whatnot and such and such. Where are you getting this authority nonsense? As one being strangely attacked for, um, watching a video, I think I have the right to defend myself. If that makes me a bitch, I'm totally cool with that.
@Danteax You are hardly just watching a video my friend. I suggest putting up a better attitude towards critical ideas or else face the critique turning against your comments. Try not to use so many euphemisms and downplaying what I write, both by describing the video less than important and by trying to play the significance out of my comments and later by attacking my person as well.
@teemuruskeepaa K, so I understand critical ideas and all that jazz (trust me, I have a degree in a critical social science). But the way you presented them was really random and kind of out of nowhere, and they were used as an attack, not a critique. Had you not said "Meanwhile, you are behaving in x way," it would not have been. But it was. Trust me, I agree with capitalist ugliness mucking up stories and all that. But effective conversations are not built on aggressive statements.
@Danteax I think you just wanted to bitch to me about having written really random and kind of from nowhere comments and turned the discussion astray.
@teemuruskeepaa Uh, no. Seems you have little faith in the human race by making such a nasty assumption about an anonymous stranger. As for Euronews, maybe there's an issue. But after watching the video, I don't think the title is important. People can choose how to interpret videos and titles, and they can also choose how to react to them. I don't think the title is worth reacting to, nor do I think it is worth it to give power to what have you by reacting to it.

@teemuruskeepaa Perhaps it was an ironic statement.

I like to see them.
Wish a good luck to them.
