I feel ridiculous, because the name of this movie is escaping my sleep deprived mind..
I know I've seen it.. But for the life of me, I can't recall what it is.. I'll wake up at some random time of night, and yell out the title or something.. Hopefully, haha..
@chkjns The melody is from "This Heart of Mine!" Desejo que eu tinha incluído uma trilha sonora, mas isso é Harry Warren no seu melhor! I'm a big fan of Mr. Warren, as he was from Brooklyn, New York! I'm a former New Yorker myself. I'm a big Esther fan, (you might have already surmised,) and this one is so colorful! I'm very happy that you enjoyed this! Thank You!
@varadero1839 Great, I can add this to my 1946 playlist, the year HW wrote this for Ziegfeld Follies (Arthur Freed lyrics). Also added to my Harry Warren playlist & String Favorites playlists. My channel's like an old library card catalog at times, find a tune by year, genre, or author! I'll send you my Harry Warren playlist.
My Portuguese is learned strictly from youtube this past year, but I dabble in Danish, French, German, Italian & Spanish also, & found the diacriticals with my alt key.
Me too! Though I used to be a pretty good swimmer, chances are I wouldn't make it these days! Wouldn't it be wonderful to say, "I was saved by Esther Williams?" Thank you so much for your notice!
Esther Williams took us to another world in which her beauty, gracefulness, and aquatic genius matched the underwater scenes' magic (even if studio-created). She was a truly talented lady.
These wonderful underwater scenes transported me to a world of beauty and fantasy when I was a teenager. They still do. Thanks for posting and refreshing our memory.
