On the oval yea I went from 3-4. On the infield road course it was just easier to keep it in 3rd all the way around.

what event was this? Can anyone sign up to drive on the road course at TMS?

Its an event put on by the Lone Star Corvette Club in Dallas TX every May. It cost $50.00 to get in and you can drive your Corvette around the track as much as you like. Go to http://www.lonestarcorvette.co­m, and click on "CLASSIC XVIII". They are already accepting registrations for May 07.

That's great but I don't own a corvette, I'm only 20 years old going to school, but I would like to get better at my drivng skills. I was wondering if TMS has like a open track day?

I have not looked into it but there are driving schools out there, and some days charity laps are going on. I thought I heard its like $50 for 3 laps though...
