I cry all the song, i never felt so lost, and now i know that God is completely a God with mercy that show his love for everyone, i never felt so love, i know God take all my pain, all my sin, i just can say thank God for this guys, him are using them for great things.
this song mean so much to me it brings back bad memories but also makes me so happy that I have moved forward and put my past behind me. my mom is an alcohalic and use to beat on me, her bf lived next door & she would always be there, I would go in my room, put this cd in my stereo, turn it all the way up &raise my arms high & praise & sing as loud as I could till I was in tears praying for help, some ppl say praying is dumb, and god wont hear you... but he did....he really did... <3

@arthurnigga there's a huge disparity between passion and performance in the christian music "genre", just because of the nature of the industry and the inherent need to put on a show involved with being a band. And unfortunately, too many "christian" bands elude that very sensitive middle ground. unfortunately, it's not so simple a thing to just worship, glorifying god with what talents he's given.
@arthurnigga i made that comment about cornerstone because, to ascend the hill's credit, their passion was overwhelming. & it translates into their music, particularly live, unlike anything other band's. i want it to be clear, regardless of my own personal convictions, or yours, or anyones, their sheer passion is in-& -of-itself absolutely beautiful. to those wondering i am still an atheist, but at least that day, it never crossed my mind.
