if this activity is pre-literacy & the child is going to watched you "write" the letters, you need to make sure you use the correct letter formation format = i.e. for the letter "t", you should make sure you form the vertical line first from top to bottom, and not the short horizontal line first and cross it with the horizontal one after. Forming the letters in the correct order will assist their handwriting skills as it will assure their formations flow once they begin cursive "handwriting".
