As for the steel mill, Bain didn't have anything to do with what the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp had to give out. It collects fees from pension funds to cover such events. Not to mention this happened in 2001, AFTER Romney left Bain Capitol. But during a time the entire steel industry was getting wiped out. Too bad Schuster would prefer to ignore the basic facts.

Adults should not let their kids watch anything from Current. It wasn't a bailout. Asinine describes Schuster here pretty well.

Bain and Company asked the FDIC to write down its debt after it had gotten in trouble while Romney was away. If someone owes you a hundred dollars, but they're going broke. Would you rather get $75 or take a risk of getting $0? The only reason the FDIC was involved was because Bain and Co owed a bank which had gone belly up which means the FDIC was the receiver.

Romney/Bain bailed out no surprise. He even answered Juliana Goldman at the Bloomberg debate of Oct. 11 that he was in support of bailouts - "That's a decision which I would I would like to have input on if I were president of the United States and try and prevent the kind of contagion that would affect the U.S. banking system and put us at risk".
