@irhagar Because this song isn't as well known & it was never given the same amount of airplay on the radio as Petty's other hits from "Full Moon Fever". As is typical with record companies & radio stations, some singles get played to death while others seem to disappear within weeks after their arrival. I've seen that happen to many a good song over the years. I think it has more to do with lack of promotion than the quality of the song. I don't know any Petty fan who doesn't love this one.
