we were up and at the bus stop in machu picchu town at 4 in the morning so we could hike up to wayna picchu. didnt get on the bus until 7. at machu picchu in morning was the absolute best time of my life. any direction you walked you found something amazing. the sun gates were un believable. goes to show humans are truly capable of anything. cheers to the human race!
