  • so do you print out the image 3 times and then cut each level? because i heard theres a diff way where you can separate them into layers and prin them ou tindividualy

  • Gary,  When I tried this, each photo I experimented with seemed to require about 6 or 7 colors to be recognizable. Do I just need to keep trying with different photos?

  • to make the picture into black and white, there are 2 ways.

    1. desaturate

    2 . grayscale(wat u mentioned)

    i'd like to know wat is the difference between both methods and which is better?

  • i've been doing stencils too and i dont print out those black and grey colours. I just have the outlines printed out. Saves ink alot!Remember, you are doing multilayer stencils and this can eat up alot of inks and papers.

  • Thanks soooo much...I have been too lazy to go research multi-level stencils...I have been using single layer for way too long..as usual..u rock with tutorials..

  • There are plenty of tutorials on here but alot were hard to follow or understand and i am so not a techno on the computer. There are slightly different variations on how to create layering but this is the one i found the best for me.
