so do you print out the image 3 times and then cut each level? because i heard theres a diff way where you can separate them into layers and prin them ou tindividualy
Thanks Capricorn. Yes please could you send me the link to the other guy you think does a good tutorial in creating layered stenciling. Thanks. JJAUSTRALIA
great vid... Say I would really like to know how you changed the sizes of mona lisa picture you have... I have been really wanting to get into stenciling and having small picture larger when they print out..
Gary, When I tried this, each photo I experimented with seemed to require about 6 or 7 colors to be recognizable. Do I just need to keep trying with different photos?
i've been doing stencils too and i dont print out those black and grey colours. I just have the outlines printed out. Saves ink alot!Remember, you are doing multilayer stencils and this can eat up alot of inks and papers.
Thanks soooo much...I have been too lazy to go research multi-level stencils...I have been using single layer for way too long..as usual..u rock with tutorials..
There are plenty of tutorials on here but alot were hard to follow or understand and i am so not a techno on the computer. There are slightly different variations on how to create layering but this is the one i found the best for me.
check out my stencil video, i think i did a good job!

to make the picture into black and white, there are 2 ways.
1. desaturate
