  • yuen and yuan are different words....

  • why do you write in tradiontional chinese?

you write 哥in a wrong way

  • @MatteoLonghi7 哥這個字一定使用正確的筆劃,但你比較的東西天壤之別。問題在於你把繁體字的寫法搞成錯誤、而把共產黨政策當作正確。你可能沒想過別人的權利若不想當共產黨這派就是有選擇餘地。

  • @Glossika

first, 哥is not made of two可, so that's the mistake you've made.

every time i pointed your mistake, you just dont want to face it, who the heck you thing you are

my point is just simplified chinese is more widely used.

to me, you konw nothing about china, stop disturbing the others.

  • @MatteoLonghi7 哥 is made of two 可. If you want to argue one character, or thousands, it makes no difference to me. I don't make up my data, and I don't get my data from you.

  • @Glossika

the top"可“ doesn't have that little clasp, don't you realaize that?

  • @MatteoLonghi7 This is precisely why I have this channel and you don't. Again, you lose. 1. Obviously you know nothing about the historical development of characters. 2. Obviously you know nothing about phonetic compounds and how this pronunciation developed. 3. You rely on a foreign language (English) to make your claim. You remind me of the Chinese people who didn't know German but yet claimed the German translation was wrong and could not use German to explain why. "對牛彈琴" Are you a cow?

  • in mainland Mandarin, the 'e' sound in 風 is the same as the 'e' sound in 哥... mainlanders would say that Taiwanese pronunce it incorrectly :).

  • Mike, is there a list or table available anywhere comparing your Universal Pinyin to Hanyu Pinyin, the IPA and other Romanisations? I'm already very familiar with Hanyu Pinyin, but now that I start learning Cantonese I get confused by all the different Romanisations used. It would be really helpful to have something like a conversion table for all the finals and endings, comparing your system to HP, Yale, IPA and so on. Have you ever published or posted something like that? Thanks in advance.

  • @HeHanrui yes, my website! go to language dot glossika dot com. I also provided the link in my write up for the polyglot project if you read my entry.

  • @Glossika Thank you!

  • standar pinyin sucks both taiwanese and mainland urs is by far better
