RANDOM QUESTION HERE BUT: Where'd you get that jacket?..I love that style/type and can't find ANYTHING comparable to the one you're wearing in this vid.
Props on the flow of this "set". Flourishes, Editing, Music, Lighting, I could go on and on...especially the cheeky glance at the end. LOVE IT!
nice optical flares the starting looks like green screen nice.mind teach me some editing skills.i like the beginning it looks like green screen is it right.and with the optical flares.nice.
@englanzil Thank you. I like the lens flares, too.
The beginning looks like green screen? How so? It is definitely not green screen or blue screen. It's not a visual effect at all, what you see is what you get.
Mind teaching you some editing skills? Well. I don't even know what to answer. You need to be more specific. What is it that you need to learn? Contact me with some more specific questions and maybe I can help you out on those inquiries.
@CardMagician well.ok thanks.i would like to learn how to make quality videos and knowing how to get those angles right what you must think or do to get good camera effect.so you filmed this video raw those effects are from using you camera settings.what camera you use.you edit just cut and paste and the music.
@CardMagician And you guys have great skill as well! Nice skill, nice cinematography and nice editing, just like what Dan said "the prize could be easily given to many of you, but we can only pick one."
@sungwonyeo nope. We didn't attend Blackpool 2011. No footage = no video. I think the upcoming "Papercuts" DVD will make up for the lack of a Blackpool video, though. :)
Brilliant stuff guys. Only complaint would be the colour grading. Blue/Green would have worked better than the red colouring you added as the cards were blue themsleves. Rest was faultless, quality stuff as always.
Maybe it would have worked better. I did not add any red during color grading though. I actually removed a lot. The video was shot in a tungsten environment at around 2800K. I then added a slight blue tint in the darker parts of the video, as well removed some red from all latitudes. The red hue you see here comes from the lens flares, and I think it works as a great contrast to the cards which is why it's there. :)
i dont even bother tryin to do these! i just stick with the actual magic tricks!!

@englanzil The reason it looks like it is green screened is because the focus is in the foreground, while the background is out of focus.
