Kisshu couldn't have REALLY gone against deep blue from the start because he didn't truly completely love Ichigo in the beginning. Also keep in mind that Deep Blue was like there GOD! Kind of hare to go against your god !!

Great vid! Im a Huge Kishigo fan though. I can't stand Aoyama. He is to goody two shoes. Kisshu fought and died for Ichigo. Teasing her and stalking her was his way of expressing how much he loved her. He protects her with his life. And in the end Ichigo does have affections for him. Aoyama acts like he owns her. Like in ep.4 he got all mad at her for running off like he was her dad or something.

Aoyama also is too obessed over nature(Nature this nature that CAN HE SHUT UP) It's just my opinion

really awesome video! :D personally im a kishxichi fan but i dont hate aoyama. i can understand why she picked hima nd if kisshu treated me liek that then i wouldnt want him either. but i think that the way kisshu teased her was his own weird way of showing affection. & if u look back when he was fighting deep blue he was very determined to protect her. and i think that ebfore he died he realized his mistakes and ichigo realized him that she sorta loved him. -shrug- my opinion though. good job!

I get what you mean by Masaya, I don't hate him really that much at all. It is just in the anime I could see that kisshu was a stalker, but in the manga it's different in a way. Besides, I don't fully support KisshuxIchigo or MasayaxIchigo because it depends on the anime or manga to me. Right now I am getting a little into other couples from TMM lol :)

The characters of Tokyo Mew Mew are merely portrayed as Mary Sues, because the suethor mangaka behind it couldn't pull her head out of her self-induced fantasies. In truth, the stereotypes backed behind the TMM characters are what makes them unique, especially from episodes 25+.

The only Mary Sues I see in this series, even with darker analysis, are Ryou and Keiichiro.

Ryou is, in my mind, a Mary Sue, (Gary Stu, I guess, since he's a guy) and I can't stand him; I can't stand the thought of IchigoxRyou, and in truth, the IchigoxRyou concept introduced had absolutely no relevance to the initial goal of the plot. While I think that Ryou's role has potential for a well-developed trigger character, he was portrayed ever so poorly, and I can't stand Mia Ikumi for ruining such a golden opportunity.

I'm not saying that I hate Aoyama and that Ichigo should have eneded up with Kishu, and I can understand why Aoyama ended up with Ichigo and there are valid reasons (like you said) why she didn't end up with Kishu. As for Masaya... I don't like him. Why? Just because he is perfect. There is NO 'perfect guy' or 'charming prince', so he is like a Gary-sue. Like those stories when bad guys are always bad and good guys are ALWAYS good. (manichaeism, is how it is called? I don't know exactly, sorry).

I don't think Aoyama was "perfect" at all. The only reason he seemed so up to par in perfection was because throughout the story, we followed in Ichigo's footsteps, and she saw him as the perfect guy. In reality, he hated humanity in such a heavy way that it even lead him to resent his parents. This lead him to obsess over the little things, making him obsessive compulsive. He avoided his classmates, and he fought in kendo to relieve the stress. Ichigo was the only thing that made him smile. -c

When it came to the aliens, he showed pretty much zero concern. I think that he was secretly on their side, considering the only time he ever showed any resentment towards them was when Ichigo's life was in danger. Why? Because to him, Ichigo was different. Which, wouldn't that kind of make sense, as a forshadowing towards the fact that he was Deep Blue? That small piece of him that remained concious as D.B. lead him to be apathetic towards most things. Hence; it's harder for me to find -c

perfections in Aoyama than it is to locate the flaws. And so, no, in all truth, Aoyama is not a Gary-Stu. Mia Ikumi simply had an extremely poor way of presenting his ingenius character, making us believe that he was perfect because that's what Ichigo thought, and nine times out of ten, we as the audience were influenced by Ichigo.

At least, that's what I think.
