I can actually do it better than that, but when the camera's on,....what little talent I have, drops significantly for some reason. Out in front of people,...no biggie, but I get thinking about the camera and then don't think about the song.
You ever read a title and know immediately that you'll like a tune? That happened with this one.
What I'd really like is to hear a more subtle version with drums/bass/keys laying a foundation with some sweet slide licks filling in the cracks. I'm absolutely certain that presentation would knock this song out of the park. It would also serve to push your strong vocal up front a little.

Although, I'm kinda partial to a sax and you never know. Got to play with a sax player at one of those open mics. Guy has been playing professionally for something like 35 years,...really great. It was generous of him to play that night.
