Theres a lot of events that goes on throughout the day. Like featured panels, art gallery, game consoles, arcade, contests merchandise/booths, signing, somewhere, and just alot of showings of animes, movies so on so forth. You just randomly check out everyone of them that you want to check out. Theres other more events that happens too. O_o...cosplay Lots of cosplayers XD

Central L.A. was so full of negative energy this year, so thick you could cut it with a hacksaw. Last year I stayed at the "Mayfair Hotel" and it was an education into the "real face" of this poor sad city! Being its' on the border with "MacArthur Park", you'll see a lot more than staying at the Bonneventure or the Biltmore. The sadness, poverty, hoplessness, racial hatred between Korean's and Salvies, Mexican Mafia pushing dope and corrupting young kids. Only the very rich and the very poor.

I stayed at the Stillwell, which is far from the upper class places you mention, but I didn't see any of the stuff you mention. I saw a few homeless people and lots of Mexicans, but nothing to speak of. If you want negative energy, stay in Philly for awhile, where I live. The energy in LA was great in comparison.
