The reason there is no rewind is because the PS3 doesn't actually save a movie file. The game saves the actions of the 10 players involved, and then plays the game out again by putting the actions into the code. Unless the code can run backwards, rewind is hard. Its the same in Halo.

Yes but Halo made this possible by skipping backwards a few seconds. That's much better then skipping to the very beginning.

the final uncharted 2 multiplayer has the machinina mode. this is only the cinema mode.

i think so. the mode's been made for people to make films and thats all it's for. you can change mr.drake mood so he acts different ways (like his walk) it has green screen so it's easy to put your own backgrounds in. if you have a bluetooth headset you can talk into it and the mouth will move. ND asked people who make machinima movies what tools they'd like to be able to do with it so it should be good.

nah beta only had cinema mode. totally different things.

think you can save your replays and load them on to a pc. (not 100% sure on this)

Anybody knows how to do stealth kills in the competitive modes in the demo? I press square when I'm close someone of the enemy team and he/she is not seeing me, I press square but my character melees the guy. I saw some people killing me with stealth moves but I can't do it! Do I have to press another button or hold square?

about stealth klls, there isn't any trick, u just gotta get right behind the guy, and simply press square. The same thing as u have hapened to me many times, u need to be focused when going for the stealth kill, and dont rush. sorry if my grammar isn't that good, hope u understand

You can only rewind to the very beginning instead of a few seconds back. So if you screw up on one shot, you have to rewind to the beginning, and then fast forward to the spot you want to film again.

If the mode gets enough attention and enough people complain, adding in an improved rewind feature sounds like an EASY patch. Since Naughty Dog has already stated that they are gonna have HEAVY DLC support for UC2, and also considering that it has a multiplayer component that needs maintaining, they will probably be rather attentive to community feedback.

I can't remember where, but I read somewhere that they can't actually put in a rewind button. Because the replays put together stats and data to recreate the game, it isn't actually saved to your PS3. (or something like that). If i find it then ill post it here. Hopefully what i read was wrong and we do get it though. It would be a huge welcome!
