I have some where it's in a major wind storm and the Ohio made rooftop wind turbine system, solid as a rock. Ohio has the best home wind/solar systems anywhere. Windpower needs to be de-centralized. People do not realize that after a big turine makes power, 7% is lost in transmission to the home. That's why big wind farms and big turbines are just not the logical answer. Home Wind Power, Why pay a big utility, Don't you have your own wind and sun?
I absolutely love looking at that thing every day on my way to work. i'm gonna get a 1.8 kW Skystream wind turbine for my home. Wind power is the way to go!
It is cool. BTW I've also looked at the skystream 3.7, it is a fantastic gird tie system. I only wish I had higher average wind speeds here in my section of NJ, or I would have a skystream installed already.
