  • and possibly shoot it. or at least whack it with a pimp stick

  • and go loot it

  • shame this is only popular because of New Vegas. Oh well. Some gems need pop culture to loot them. oh and If you havent played New Vegas, get your shit together.

  • @funkymadhatter I believe 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?' is what brought this song to popular culture. At least I know it from there.

  • Whoa Stray Cats!!!

  • @DJINEVIL2323 YES!!!

  • Classy. Classic ;)

  • Dopo un po' che si gioca a Fallowt New vegas, questo brano ti si stampa in testa. Un brano fantastico!

  • thumbs if you love her smile

  • i don't get it

why do people adore Jessica Rabbit's version, they only watch the video for the cartoon gravity defying tits and the ass that changes sizes.

at least this version has lyrics then just the chorus of it repeated.

  • @ToxicMadn3ss One reason why everyone prefers Jessica Rabbit's version is not only because of the un-natural way that her body looks, but also because of the voice of Amy Irving that makes the song sound so sensual.

  • @KillersAndTheives13 @KillersAndTheives13 Don't know what you're talking about when you say "everybody." I certainly prefer Peggy's version by far, and, compared to Peggy, Amy Irving's voice can hardly be called sensual. Now, Jessica's looks, that's another matter: supersensual ... but then again, shes a cartoon, so .... :)

  • @Carambabambasamba Whatever makes you happy, pal. :)

  • (not meant as a dis to Peggy) People realize how hard it can be to do the things that we are now are calling wrong. Take the late great Micheal Jackson for example both his dancing in music videos could easily be perceived as sexual but the time, work, and effort he put into his dancing was what made it superb and in my opinion better than what Peggy was doing on stage. I'm not here to say that all dancing now a days is great because it isn't but remember to give respect where respect is due.

  • @srbXOXOgirl93 sry :(

  • Such a beautiful smile, a gorgeous woman by any standard of human being. And an amazing voice on top of that. Women of the older ages were just naturally beautiful; they didn't need the auto tuning or the gaudy outfits to simply stand there and have an amazing performance. Every girl today - including myself - strives to be half the woman Peggy is.

  • It ain't bland in my book! I love it, thanks for sharing.

  • New Vegas...

  • @MrLickinchicken omg jus got that game and luv it heard this song and was like isnt that from who killed roger rabbit new vegas is soo freakin awesome

  • @Panwax -.-

  • @Panwax No surprise, man. The REAL music never dies.

  • Jessica Rabbit, eat your heart out.

  • Und sie war schön wie Blumen aus Eis.

  • That right there, is a goddess.

  • Fallout New Vegas!!!. Good song

  • omg she's so pretty i love looking at her!

  • @Dominika5775 lol she is i would really like to go back and time see her sing TT_TT

  • omg!! She's so pretty!!!!

  • You had plenty of money in 1922

You let other women make a fool of you

    Why don't you do right?

    Like some other men do

Get out of here and get me some money, too.... i like it xxx

  • This is really cool and jazzy. It makes me want to snap my fingers to the beat.

  • Jessica Rabbit is so much prettier in real life!

  • Great stuff. Peggy Lee was definitely among the most talented singers in her era and her choice of compositions was always top notch. She resisted doing more pop stuff when others didn't. Any compilation CD of hers won't disappoint.

  • From that to what we call entertainment today. I thought evolution meant we got better.

  • LA AMO

  • she is hot as hell.. I've never seen a woman of that time making me feel horny by simple sight

  • I love this kind of old-timey music, and the bad quality also makes me like the catchy song even more, giving it an old feel..

I lover Peggy Lee and her music..

    Oh and..

    Fallout: New Vegas FTW.

  • Cute dress.

  • In the late 70s, when I lived in NYC, she was commanding $70,000 a night at the Waldorf Astoria!

  • @maskman21218 is this in today's dollars (adjusted for inflation), or 70 grand then?

  • She's so damn sexy!!!

  • That nigga on the guitar is owning it

  • This song is so smooth and just..right. this is true music, true sexy, true sound

  • WHY DONT YOU DO RIGTH AND LOVE THIS SONG!!!!

  • This is the most provacative classy performance I've ever seen. This should be on VH1 and MTV. Peggy Lee captures the essence of all these great players. Beautiful!

  • seth macfarlane was right...its the teeth.

  • @mrrealtime where did you hear that? :o

  • Great song!

  • who cares if people say how old they are and they love the music? thats rude. im so glad young people like this!!

  • This gal's got more charisma in her simple little preformance than most preformers today, and she didn't even have to dance on a poll or do a booty dance. Stay classy world

  • WHERE CAN I FIND TABS OR MUSIC FOR THE GUITAR AND BASS D: I'M DESPERATELY TRYING TO FIND SOME !

  • No one cares how old you are...

  • @nafejnze

    you are damn right

all these comments " im just 12 and i love this kind of music" suck

just listen to the music andbe satisfied

  • I turned 14 in August and I am absolutely in love with this.

  • anyone feeling nostalgic yet? :(

  • my fav version so far, im so glad for fallout games they got me into this music :D

  • She must've made swagger, cause this girl really has it all.

  • 36 don't do right

  • get up! get up up get up! get up up get up!

  • Nowadays this would be considered bland and they would say this woman has no charisma just because she's not rolling on the floor in lingerie doing crotch shots for the audience. I hate entertainment today.

  • Comment removed

  • @ravennrichards Just to name 2 out the top of my head.

You ever heard of Adele or Birdy?

  • @ravennrichards Nowadays I want to travel backdays and do nasty things to her...

  • @ravennrichards THIS is the only form of entertainment I respect. Peggy is a goddess. All hope isn't gone.

  • @ravennrichards we have adele tough

  • @ravennrichards aint it just sad what passes for talent today.acting? brad pitt is considered a good actor? and on and on...

  • @ravennrichards she doesn’t need to she actually HAS talent! her charisma is in her voice, her face, the cheeky little smile

  • @sowutsurpoint Maybe back then that was acceptable before but nowadays it's considered dull but I already said that in my original comment.

  • I'm seventeen & loving this ;]

  • maffia II ^^

  • DELICIOUS!

  • Hey guys im Grace ,

please come and watch my vids & tell me what u think :)

  • Damn i love her smile

  • Wow, over a million hits. Great song too.

  • tell em peggy pegs

  • A hoffner guitar :O I stripped my fathers one for bits, and got a good hideing for it lol

  • @TARGETZEROO I recently got an original '55 Presdident and she's a joy to play!

  • wygląda jak moja babcia gdy była młoda..

  • she's so fucking hot.

  • What the hell is that guitar instrument that does that cool solo? I wanna learn how to do it, but all I can find is chords!

  • This is the 1952 version, when nobody had the money for big band swing. Compare with the 1942 version with Benny Goodman.

  • most of her music is pretty smooth but this song has more bop to it.

  • I love this!

  • i am in love

  • get out of here, and get me some money!! get up,up,up

  • sex appeal doesnt have to be where you are almost naked. someone with sex appeal is someone that can just stand there full clothed and just have a natural sexual energy. I think Peggy Lee gets sensuaility across with just her voice and her slight movements.

  • Thumbs up if Jessica Rabbit brought you here.

  • @LeBartman dick head...

  • She is in her own league of beautiful with just her voice alone! She doesn't even need to be here in order to fall in love with her. Good god... what happend to most women?

  • @JustTheTip79 Quite right. Peggy oozes hotness. And it's so subtle and done with just a few winks; and her voice. THAT is a woman. A real woman.

  • i like how she randomly smiles at her crowd :D

  • It's fantastic to see Ms. Peggy Lee singing :D

  • υπεροχη ειναι!

  • I like the sound she makes at 0:56 :)

  • oldies were the bestiess

  • Mafia II <3

  • Geez her smile is so lovely. There are few women and men like the old days, Humanity is doomed. And yet we lost or are still losing some of the most charismatic people on the globe. Us, with the classy taste of music and nice perception of art, we shall continue this legacy to our future generations. I know I will show my kids Mr. Magoo's movies and show them Peggy Lee, Billie Holiday, and many more artists who worked in the true meaning of art.

  • @H34DCRUSH I agree. Peggy Lee, and others of her day, just oozed sensuality, but it was done with class and subtlety. It wasn't about cavorting around naked on MTV. Those were real women back then. Can you believe those Academy Award bastards didn't even honour her in the 2002 obituaries slideshow? I was outraged when I read about that. Peggy Lee appeared in quite a few feature films. Oh, and I'm 29 so this stuff is WAY before my time. But I prefer the sultry, classy dames of the 40s and 50s

  • @TheAdam159 Not only that but she was nominated for an Oscar for Pete Kelley's Blues.

  • I think I prefer the Jessica Rabbit version. Don't hurt me.

Also, I want that guy's guitar.

  • Mmm. This song is the good stuff.

  • I love that little twitch that she does to the beat. The performance of the whole band is just too cool and slick.

  • auto-tune -.- xD

  • Her smile knocks me off my feet ..

  • fallout new vegas anyone? :D

  • @l0veIshhDead ya can't wait untill the ultimate eddition (because my wireless router was screwed up I can't buy add ons)

  • @l0veIshhDead Who framed roger rabbit anyone?

  • @l0veIshhDead Mafia 2 also ;)

  • @l0veIshhDead III LOVE THAT SONG!!!!!!!!! Even when shooting with my laser rifle

  • @l0veIshhDead mafia 2 my friend :D

  • Gotta love it. Makes it better because it is in Fallout New Vegas. Perfect

  • Jessica.. Rabbit?..

  • @HardcoreCaliKid I meant to thumbs up you, not thumbs down haha.

  • i very much thank bethesda for putting such great music in fallout, which if it hadnt been for that game, i would have never heard

  • @MALAK901234 Bethesda didn't use this song, but it's still great.

  • @FlourescentPotato It was used in Fallout New Vegas. They also used Johnny Guitar by Peggy Lee.

  • @PrestigeOfficialMP3 Not by Bethesda. And I think Johnny Guitar is horrific, it's boring and too long, where this song is upbeat and catchy.

  • SO beautiful :)

  • fallout new Vegas brought me here

  • @flamboyantST Yeah, me too :3

  • new vegas version

  • i never felt like i belonged with my generation...maybe because of all the music i grew up listening to with my grandparents?? I'm 34 and really can not stand half the men or the music.. mt father is a wonderful bass player.. u knw what i feel lucky compared to the rest ;)

  • Thumbs up for the inspiration of Jessica Rabbit singing this song!

  • this actually got some SWAG

  • she seems so cool and relaxed when she sings this! so effortless :)

  • that guitar is too nice

  • Who knew a woman from many generations ago, could have been singing to me about my infamous Man-Whoring years; that I struggle with to this day. I juts love the flow of this song....

  • I am high as fuck :D

  • Someone is probably going to be upset over this, but I don't really see the big deal. Adele is much better than this and she uses her voice only. Maybe people just let nostalgia slowly warp their actual perception.

  • @YaosaysObjection what was the purpose...

  • @YaosaysObjection Fair point, I suppose because it was the 'golden age' where america peeked as a culture in my opinion. By listening we can forget about recession this and middle east that and obesity, dubsteps and so on. Oddly enough the racism, poverty and sexism is lost in translation when we look to the golden age. People can listen to music like this as an escape to a style an era free of their current world problems... or they like the fallout series.

  • @YaosaysObjection better? Peggy is an amazing singer and this is an amazing song. That's all there is to it. Nostalgia? Im 14 and Korean but I love this song and singer.

  • @YaosaysObjection Tastes change. I personally prefer singers like Peggy Lee, because the voices before my time were all so unique. They were imperfect, but talented, which can't be said for nearly every musician out there now with a recording contract they don't deserve in the slightest. /:

  • Peggy Lee is a Diva!

  • Goddamn that's a sexy woman! Was she a natural blond? It seems to me brunettes are sexier than blonds. Therefore I suspect Peggy, like Marilyn Monroe, was actually by nature a brunette, not a blond.

  • Such a good song, the chemistry between the guitar player and Peggy is amazing!

  • Im in love.
