I like this character. My vs. mode buddy likes Nina and I find he can counter her really strong kicks if he can get inside, or even to the side of her. He's got a good quick sidestep like law. This IS a great game, that's said even though I know so little about it.

Unfortunately no. This is a big issue in games today, they are built with text that is made for HDTV's and so it is nearly impossible to read without HD cables and an HDTV. This problem is exacerbated by the fact that Xbox 360 elites and arcades (the only models still being produced) don't come with HD cables.

Yeah...and I can only record using the AV cables through my set up. -_- I can hardly read any of the text without using HD cables. I could get something to record HD quality, but that means I have a dish out $200 or so, which is rather...pricey. I apologize that the video quality in general for my uploads is not up to other peoples' expectations like macseven74. *sighs*

Yeah man, I understand. I'm forced to play the game in SD and I have to actually get up from the couch and stand in front of the TV to read the command lists or the unvoiced dialogue in scenario campaign. They've patched this issue on other games, hopefully they'll fix it on this.

Exactly! I'm sure I'm going to become blind even sooner from staring at the TV at that close of a distance. The text is too blurry. One would think that playing in SD would make the text even clearer if you're going from high and making it smaller? (Shapes and polygons appear to look smoother to me at least such as those in Uncharted 2, but the text is still "..." *squints really hard*)

The issue is they rely on the clarity of HD to create legible letters, but since SD has less defined edges on their letters it gets blurrier and harder to read. It is evil!! Don't they know I'm going blind anyway? I don't need their help for that. :P

This sample combo is nice, but it doesnt show you the commands for it right? would i have to figure them out for myself or something? Or are they just to show you what Lei can actually do or something please explain.

You're right about the part with them not showing you what the inputs are. I guess it's just to show what Lei can do in situations, although when I was doing them with Asuka, it may not be practical because people can just block the attacks which the dummy wasn't really doing.
