@joel4008 13-pin? i can see the benefit of the XLR but would require adding an impedance transformer, thats what a DI is for any basic acoustic gtr set up would have that, and any studio or decent live venue for that matter. for any professional recording they will have a favorite DI they like to use, adding the xlr would eliminate that coice, and the ability to simply plug into a practice amp.
And I have absolutely no clue why anyone would need or want a 13-pin out on a GTR.
@joel4008 Atlantis is available in the HexFX Edition. This features a 13-pin connector with individual string outputs, plus summed. Additional controls are MIDI volume, wet / dry / both switch, and a scroll switch for presets. Has 1/4" output jack for regular play. The standard and HexFX Editions both feature rechargeable battery packs onboard: one hour rapid charge for 16 hours play time.
It just sounds sterile, kind of like a piezo on a solid body guitar. Way too much money. There's better options that are a fraction of the price.

I wonder how they capture the same harmonics with the pickup being in the bridge rather than closer to the neck.

It sounds like a saddle piezo to me, but with slightly less "quack"...not that exciting. Their basses sound awesome, though.

Nice review. I have been hearing about these for years. I wish it was a guitar synth too and the battery charge is kind of bummer.

I was hoping some gain (especially high high gain) channel would be shown - the real test of the 'low noise'.

@jbrannon01 O.K. man. That's pretty reasonable. I'd like to play one before I buy direct. Guitar Center?

It almost sounds like a nylon string guitar, although obviously it isn't.

The guitar is too stuck is the past ... I would go further & add xlr connectors ,rechargeable battery & midi output ?

@gunmansole I agree with you, the XLR connector and the 13-pin would send that guitar to the stratosphere.
