that new combo system doesnt work too good, personaly after ACE2 and 3 i got used to specific control system. Dont make another DBZ game which consists only from super-mega turbo combos destroying whole maps. The easiest way to make this game superior mecha sim. Add some elements from gundam vs series (AI, melle, dashing, anims) ,some from climax (shields) and all what was best from all ACE seres. Bingo.

Improve melle, mecha animations especially melle (add some "physics" and dynamic), usable shield (could be destroyable like in climax). Now the good things. Maps look way better, there are more enveiromental effects, shaders, objects, dont look so bold like in previous games (PS2 RAM limitations). To tell the truth i was expectiing something better from new ACE. Melle animations sucks comparing to those from "gundam vs" series.

Combination attacks looks promising but in the end enemy uits just stand in one place waiting for heroes to vaporize them. Looks so "plastic" to me. Vernier blast looks like smoke screen. Looked way much better in ACE3. This game has potential,

great potential and i dont belive they didn't knew what could be done better.

I was going to at first.. but the game.. is just so... expensive and not good enough for that price. I'd spend the normal price for games ($60) but not more than that. This game is impaired graphically and mechanically, it lacks.

@shinobaiders Crosswise plays perfectly in gundam seed serie. Who care it is from sengoku basara or not. And it's not the edit song. It's actually custom background song. You can choose any mp3 musics in your ps3 and place it as the background song for every stages you like.

No, you will not be able to play this game if you have an American PS3.

Why?

Region Coding. If its a Japanese home console game (PS3, PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, Wii etc...) You won't be able to play it on the American versions of these consoles.

The only exceptions are PSP, DS and Gameboy, sadly.....
