I don't care for it, but Simon has sung with this group/vocalist, so obviously he is okay with it. it's an honor for another band to cover your material. it exposes Duran Duran to a whole new audience that may have never had the opportunity to enjoy such classic material. nothing will ever compare to the original, but this is a 'nod' to greatness. as all remakes/covers are...

Why remake a classic? You might as well remake Star Wars or The Godfather. The original Duran Duran song stands by itself. In my humble opinion this is not an improvement to the orignal.

This is the best cover of the classic, followed by th one by sleepthief. Both keep the essence of the original and its haunting atmospheric elements. Of course the worst is the one by deftones, absolute crap in comparison.

This cover is by far the best version that i have ever heard. Chris's amazing voice just makes it even better. the live performance he did with simon le bon is even better and gives me chills every time i hear it. It really sucks that you can't get it in the US itunes store. I did a lot of searching for it and actually found it in the Japan itunes store, im not exactly sure how to get it when you have a US account on itunes though. If you know how to do that please reply :) :) :)
