  • Apparently, the strict media agreements with both parties over the lively debate coverage has required them to remain silent on stories like this one or on the violence outside the RNC. I hope that it is not because they are gagged by apathy or prejudices against the protestors. I would like to think that as John Edwards promised, this election cycle would help give voices to the voiceless in our country.

  • the cops are doing their jobs, just like these so called vets did, so you'd have to shoot them too. Just for doing thir jobs.

  • Brutality is nowhere on the job description of a law enforcement official. And if memory serves me correctly, one of the five rights under the 1st amendment is the right to peacefully protest. Iraq Veterans Against the War get their message out - PEACEFULLY.

And as far as you calling these men and women "so-called vets" goes, Nick Morgan received more wounds from the Nassau Co. Police Dept. than he did in Iraq. And if you still feel the same - go enlist...

  • Oh yeah you can totally tell that they are WAR VETS due to the CRAZY ASS way they PROTEST! Good Gods. Just Go Home. Seriously. These political people KNOW that people aren't happy with the way things are going, they KNOW that every body hates bush and the bush administration, they know that they are in the shit hole so just STFUP & go home!

Obviously over the course of 8 years all your protesting DIDN'T help to stop the war or bush so just stop it. Gods people. Really.

  • You cant stop the truth. The truth can be beaten, it can be marginalized, it can be degraded. But you cant stop it. Its a bullet train barreling straight at you, what kind of arrogance thinks its can stop that. Stand aside.

  • Gay!

  • Why wasn't this on the news?

  • While fightin69th is right about the regulation, in all honesty it means nothing wen it comes to the justice or the injustice of the situation.

  • what happened to freedom? freedom of speech ?? why were these veterans arrested? why should a permit be needed for a protest...? freedom of assembly is a right .. not freedom of assembly if you have a permit. this is shameful action on the part of the police..shame on them

  • welcome to the police state, bush already has his army here.

    impeach. impeach. impeach.

since i am a peaceful demonstrator, this makes me hate living in america. where is the freedom? george w bush wasn't kidding when he said the constitution is a god damn piece of paper.

  • both were wearing class-b uniforms as i recall with insigna and ribbons

  • What most fail to realize is that riots are caused by the officers using violence and violating the rights of people who are there to stand for their rights. It is a planned effect of the ones in control with the sticks.

  • They were not dressed in full army uniforms. I can buy this clothes at the local surplus store and wear them every day of the week.

  • blah blah blah ...whatever this is america you can wear whatever you want to..whenever you want to...those rules are not laws but ethics..and do not supercede the right to free speech afforded by the constitution..freedom of speech(which includes how u dress)freedom of assembly this was peaceful demonstration these veterans have been wronged by the police and their unconstitutional and brutal acts ... shame on them

  • fuck off faggot.

go suck some more hairy pig ass.
