The Ninth Legion is an interesting, albeit missing, part of history from a factual standpoint and I suppose the speculative theories will go on until additional evidence is uncovered that will allow us all to completely unravel this mystery. Good movie but terrible ending , the film started out well but seemed to be rushed near the end and the 9th Legion was never reformed after it vanished north of the wall .

I think they should have stayed true to the book ' The Eagle of the 9th ' which is one of my favourite books .

I love how people are all hung up on the accent thing. The movie was made by Americans and Britts. Some people have a difficult time understanding an accents that aren't their own or at least in the same ballpark. Were they supposed to use Latin accents? Seriously, people, it's just a movie. Get over it. If all you can think to do with your time is criticize a movie for not using the accents from a "dead" langueage, then, my friends, I think you need to find yourself a hobby.

Classic Latin isn't widly spoken anymore, and those who do speak it don't usually speak it properly. Classic Latin is pretty much dead. And I was using Laymen's terms, hense the quotation marks used around the word "dead". Learn to read before calling someone an idiot.
