@19bega84 That last bit was meant to say even in Britain, the army isn't the law, the police force is. Fortunately, the rest of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (note even the official title differentiates) don't live under martial law, because martial law doesn't constitute a democracy, or the right to Habeas Corpus. You don't seem to comprehend this though.

@19bega84 The clue is in the name "The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland" Now is that clear, or shall I break it out into words of one syllable? And the elected Government is the law and they can use whatever asset they have to bring about law and order...so when the micks cause trouble that the police find themselves overstretched, or terrorists run amok, then the Army should be used to exterminate the murderers. Go and study the meaning of D E M O C R A C Y!

@19bega84 Ah, yet another bitter creature who selfishly believes that a Mugabe style land grab is the way forward. Alas old chap, democracy will win. The people of LONDONDERRY were marching, a banned march I may add, at the behest of the IRA under the direction of Martin McGuinness. He fired the first shots, he wanted a martyr or two, and got rather more. And the people of NI were allowed to vote, if they had a job and paid their taxes...thosse who did not, couldnt. A fair system!

@MrMickroach Before I leave for the day, one more point. The people of Derry were marching on Bloody Sunday in the backdrop of NICRA's campaign to gain the right to universal suffrage. This means that until the final 3rd of the 20th Century, the people of the North of Ireland weren't even allowed to vote. This is the democracy that you and your pals murdered for to keep alive.
Shame on you.

@MrMickroach Look at my posts. I said the IRA were wrong to carry out attacks on Warrington, Kingsmill and Enniskillen to name but a few. Not once have I tried to justify these atrocities.
You however, have justified the killing of 13 innocent civilians on Bloody Sunday (that takes into account that one is alleged to have had nail bombs), the rest had no connection to paramilitaries.
You've also justified the system which denied the right to one man, one vote.
I repeat: Shame on you!

@19bega84 Two out three enquiries exonerated the British Parachute Regiment. It was a full blown riot and even Fr Alec Reid was there, the filthy man who specialises in hiding evidence. Nai and petrol bombs were thrown and McGuinness fired the first shots! We wpuld welcome charges to be brought, because then the "witnesses" would have to swear on oath and tell the truth, and genus mick doesnt want the truth, only what they want to believe! Shame on you old man for believing the lie!

Your excuses are laughable. Even IF (note the big if) McGuinness did fire the first shots, how did that justify you shooting 14 other people in the back, as they were legging it?
When the IRA carried out their attacks on Warrington and the other targets stated below, they reduced themselves to your level!

@19bega84 Strange chap! The people who were offed during the bloody sunday riots were just that, but worse, they were villains throwing petrol and nail bombs, darts and rocks! The fact is, you only have anecdotal evidence, and even then it is flawed. I have the word of servicemen who were there, choice? Believe rioters or honourable soldiers?? Well I know who was telling the truth! And it certainly wasnt the micks that day!
