You do realize, this interview was done during the democratic primaries? their interview with mccain was a few weeks ago. If Obama was on now, and there was a lot of dirt on his campaigning style, he'd probably get the same kind of flack.. but really, Obama hasn't played near as dirty as McCain, and that's what McCain was called out on.
They treated him poorly because 80% of them realize he would be a lousy president.
Note in part 3 obama talks about the economy/financial markets being in "bad shape". This was taped on March 27th. On September 15th (the same day Lehman Brothers filed for bankrupcy protection) we saw McCain declare "The fundamentals of our economy are still strong." Obama has foresight, Obama has judgment, McCain has neither.
I have friends who have come from all over the world. What Obama has said is definitely true. What we have in common is more than what drives us apart.
Overall, I think we need optimistic men like Obama in office, and this is coming from a pretty staunch, white conservative. There are points I disagree on (but I'm not going to get into them), but its good to have men like him who seem to sincerely want to make this country what it used to be when it was first founded and to do it in a honorable and thoughtful manner.

My point was Obama could not campaign in MI and FL and therefore this information was not as readily available for them as other states. They couldn't personally feel "the movement" before they voted. I know the information is available, but people who don't look for those issues couldn't see them on t.v. where campaigns advertise, or pick up a pamphlet from a volunteer.

The big problem with both of these states is that Obama is a lesser known figure. Clinton is HUGE and everyone knows who she is. By not being able to campaign in these two states, Obama had a MAJOR disadvantage. Most people weren't in favor of Obama, Only after learning about him and hearing about him was he able to win all of those states. Clinton starts off in the lead in almost every state, and Obama takes it from her or narrows her lead. That is one of the reasons why its unfair for him

It was NOT their choice not to campaign in those states (Hillary didn't either). You do realize, this interview was done during the democratic primaries? their interview with mccain was a few weeks ago. If Obama was on now, and there was a lot of dirt on his campaigning style, he'd probably get the same kind of flack.. but really, Obama hasn't played near as dirty as McCain, and that's what McCain was called out on.

Note in part 3 obama talks about the economy/financial markets being in "bad shape". This was taped on March 27th. On September 15th (the same day Lehman Brothers filed for bankrupcy protection) we saw McCain declare "The fundamentals of our economy are still strong." Overall, I think we need optimistic men like Obama in office, and this is coming from a pretty staunch, white conservative. There are points I disagree on (but I'm not going to get into them), but its good to have men like him who seem to sincerely want to make this country what it used to be when it was first founded and to do it in a honorable and thoughtful manner.

You're missing what I'm saying. I am well aware of what Obama's stances are and anyone looking for them will find them. My point was Obama could not campaign in MI and FL and therefore this information was not as readily available for them as other states. They couldn't personally feel "the movement" before they voted. I know the information is available, but people who don't look for those issues couldn't see them on t.v. where campaigns advertise, or pick up a pamphlet from a volunteer.

The big problem with both of these states is that Obama is a lesser known figure. Clinton is HUGE and everyone knows who she is. By not being able to campaign in these two states, Obama had a MAJOR disadvantage. Most people weren't in favor of Obama, Only after learning about him and hearing about him was he able to win all of those states. Clinton starts off in the lead in almost every state, and Obama takes it from her or narrows her lead. That is one of the reasons why its unfair for him

not true... Obama is as known as any other nominee just because people know Hillary doesn't mean they vote for her, your logic is illogical. and it was their choice not to campaign in those states and people did know about him how can you say they didn't your not making any sense... idiot

Incorrect, the average person does not know where Obama stands on the issues. Most people only know "change." They can't site a single thing he stands for. It was NOT their choice not to campaign in those states (Hillary didn't either). All of the candidates had to sign papers saying they would not campaign in those states (cause they weren't to be counted for breaking the rules.) Clinton has an advantage in name recognition and familiarity to the uninformed voter. You can't argue with that

how can you speak for everyone in those states I don't really know... but I've never seen Obama, I know what he stands for and everything... your case doesn't make any sense, I have to see him to understand him? Yes people recognize Hillary so what your saying people live in a cave or something and it was Obama's choice not to put his name on the MI ballot so that's his fault but he did put it on the FL ballot, what he likes FL better than MI. The 2 states broke the same rules.

First off, I'm not speaking for everyone in those states (I am referring to the uninformed voter. The average person does not go in search of the candidates' platform, they see advertisements on t.v. or see it in campaign literature. None of this was going on in those two states. Unless the voter went in search of this information online or happened to see something on the news this direct information (straight from the campaign) was largely at a loss, except rarely platform giving news sources.

Also, your facts are a bit screwed. Obama didn't not put his name on the MI ballot...He took it off. And so did EVERY OTHER CANDIDATE except Clinton and Mike Gravel. I don't know how long you've been following this story, but it started last year when FL and MI moved their primary up KNOWING what would happen. While there may be an excuse for FL dems, there isn't one for MI. Would you be holding the same argument if Clinton and Obama had switched places? I would, because it just isn't fair.

WtF? I haven't mentioned anything about Obama's stances...what are you talking about? Please explain where I "went wrong?" Did you pick up in the middle of the conversation or something? If you're referring to Obama campaigning in FL and MI, advertising most certainly do make a difference. How else do you explain him surging in the polls in PA, where he is outspending her 3 to 1 and finally beginning to catch up with Hillary. Think twice before calling me ignorant, I'm likely to surprise you.

at the time, he still wasn't that well known. FL and MI broke the rules, and they were ALL supposed to take their names off. Hill saw an opportunity for an easy win by getting those states grateful to her, so she's trying to cheat and play the "I feel for you" card. Peace out.

I support Obama 100%! I started a voter campaign in MI and gotten over 2,000 new voters, and the majority(1,700) supports Obama!

Obama is going down. He couldn't handle the steam of the ABC debate (he and his supporters have been whining for days, when he didn't even experience a fraction of the animosity Hillary has received - Tim Russert dug into her 50x harder than anyone has ever dug into Obama), so how will he handle the fire the GOP throws him into?
I can't wait to see him lose.

The only reason why Obama leads is:
1) The bulk of his delegates come from caucuses, which isn't how the GE works. Nobody knows who's in charge, there are no official standards for them, and his supporters cheated in TX, locking out Clinton supporters and altering votes that had been cast. 2000+ instances of foul play.
2) Bribing superdelegates.
3) Disenfranchising voters by blocking revotes in MI and FL, which he knows he'd lose. She'd have the popular vote if revotes were scheduled.
