  • I wish the anomaly's i had in my high school physics projects were this exciting.

  • anomaly MY ASS. it's raining fire...armageddon style

  • I try to have an anomaly twice a day.

  • Awesome Anomaly! =) LOL

  • Worked at the cape when this happened, had a lot of friends in the blockhouse which is very close to the pad and right under where all the nice flaming sparkly debris was falling. They could hear all the debris hitting the roof and most of the cars in the parking lot were burned up and destroyed. They are consumate professionals, no one freaked out but were dismayed the launch vehicle was lost.

  • 0:43 was amazing to watch.

  • Titanic Explodes: "We have had an aquatic anomaly."

Chicago Fire of 1871: "We have had a Windy City match anomaly."

Donner Party of 1846: "We have had a white meat anomaly."

  • haha so many understatements in the video

  • Look mom, the stars are falling.

  • Secure the area? WTH woman.............RUN!!!!

I wouldn't be securing anything but my shorts!!!

  • 0:19 FUS RO DAH!

  • Hear in the background lol, as if they planned it: Awwhh noo.

  • Now thats what you call debris!

  • 0:43 when i first saw this i was playing sim city 4, reminds me of the "obliterate city" button when all the little white orbs start falling down

  • so thats where i left my c4... i mean uhhhh, playdough

  • Eupehmisms like this are part of the culture... as if saying the word "explosion" brings bad luck. At one time, the launch commentator had no monitor, or a panel of instruments, and couldn't be sure what had happened. That's why the LC described the Challenger explosion a few seconds later as "obviously, a major malfunction" ... he only saw the dials go crazy, and didn't realize the vehicle had exploded.

  • was anyone killed?

  • "we have had an anomaly", then "we need to secure the area"...ok, seriously? Shouldn't someone at least be screaming?

  • @GimiGlider Absolutely not. Panicking professionals means panicking civilians which means dead civilians. If the pros are calm, then the civvies are calm too.

  • @frogger626 ...that makes sense. But where are the civvies? I think the nearest civvie is miles away.

  • We have had an anomoly

  • An anomaly? You mean it's not supposed to do that?

  • SHOCK AND AWE 0:22

  • 0:42 to 0:52 - Eat your heart out Micheal Bay!

  • хороший феэрверк )))))))

  • Ooh! there goes my semen.

  • 0:46 That looks SOOOOO cool... and also how I picture the end of the world :P

  • Ooops!

  • Comment removed

  • @TNMinuteMan Nope, it was a 17 foot long crack that somehow, they didn't see.

  • OHHHHHHHHHHH! There goes a few billion dollars. Shucks,

  • There are cheaper ways to make a scene for Transformers.

  • The anomaly was ofcourse not that the rocket exploded that everybody always thinks. All bigger rockets are equipped with a fail safe so it should instantly be destroyed if anything happens. One good example is if the guidance system malfunctioning so the rocket wont follow the specified track. To prevent it from hitting citys and areas like that so will it be instantly destroyed so debris wont fall where ppl can be hurt. In this case several cars were totalled but no personnel was hurt though.

  • MADE IN USA!

  • @s3fredo Hey guy, stop bragging, here in Algeria, even cars can do that.

  • Oh well, look on the bright side. No more annoying GPS lady voice.

0:24 - I love the bimbo announcer. We NEVER would have figured it out by ourselves, I'll guarantee that much.

  • Everyone knows women can't drive. This goes for rockets too.

  • flaming liquid nitrogen, flaming hydrogen and other gasses and fuel, medal shards.. umm duck and cover?

  • Anomaly equals disaster in NASA...

  • Well, at least it was pretty

  • how can they always remain calm....i'd be cussing and screaming obscenities loll

  • no one survived... so sad... RIP Buzz Armstrong

  • @wr3ck lol wtf

  • DAYMN!!!!!... Thats one hellova Sniper. XD XP

  • Tobi:Deidara-sempai?

    Deidara: that was art!

    me:.........that caused .......an explosion

  • At 0:42 it looks like a freaking meteor shower decided to drop by on the surface of the Earth.

  • That was the most massive anomaly I've ever seen.

  • 00:41 Beautiful, looks like Christmas

  • Is it me or does she sound like Star Trek's Uhura?

  • Is it just me or is someone saying go for detonator before it explodes?

  • this was the last time a big block chevy was used in these rockets, had nothing but trouble out of them, pretty sure this one broke a rod. from this time on, big block fords and an occasional turboed cleveland has been used with no problems what so ever. the hi po 289 can not be used because of g-suit technology not being able to protect the pilots from blacking out. the hi po 289 is just too powerful.

  • That was one helluva sight from Jetty Park. Unbelievable...we were certain a lot of people were dead because back then, it was easier for reporters and others to get pretty close...that's what overconfidence will do for you.

  • So that's why my phone takes forever to get a GPS signal.

  • we have ignition, liftoff, and understatement of the year 1997.

  • Best Firework ever Lol

  • I have anomaly with my shoe, or I have monster explosion?

  • Oh yeah, that's a defiant liftoff...

  • 0:33 quick! we need to snipe the smoke before it runs away!!!

  • ...and people are suffering from salvation!

  • Crawl back into your kitchen and do your job, woman, how can you continue your "announcement" without any reaction of suprise?!!!...YOU DUMB BROAD, YOU!!!

  • @phambo101 PA announcers aren't supposed to panic Einstein. Maybe you'd have pulled a Herb Morrison & made an ass of yourself but don't project that onto people who know what they're doing.

  • @FantasticBob7000 Like, dude, do you go to bed with this dumb broad and suck her rotten titties or something?!!!...YOU DUMB BROAD, YOU!!!

  • @phambo101 Like OMG the rocket like exploded, oh the humanity ladies & gentlemen. THE HUMANITY!!

    ha ha ha dork.

  • Bet them Ruskis are happy =l

  • Bet them Ruskis are happy =l

  • Hundreds of tonnes of rocket fuel detonates at 1500 feet and she calls it an anomaly!! Understatement of the century.

  • priestess of the moon casted STARFALL xD

  • "We have had an anomaly" lmao

  • im crying:'(

  • You hear then men react? that's how you're suppose to react when a billion dollars catches fire right infront of your eyes..

  • We have a little problem.

  • An anomoly?? How about a disastrous explosion? How about total destruction of the ship? How vague can they get???

  • It was OFF the pad when it exploded honey. not ON lmao!

  • @CoDGunner1 No that was the launch commentator...I remember seeing a replay on the news the day it happened and her commentary was over it.

  • @CoDGunner1 Possibly, but I would think an amateur wouldn't say, "There has been an anomaly..." they would say something like "Holy mother of DOOM! Look at that huge *%$# explosion!"

  • .. an anomaly?

  • Crazy

  • @richardboy316 You're sick

  • That should be on failblog :D

  • A problem? You simplfy an massive explosion to a meger problem?
