Stop calling them 'geniuses'. None of them is a genius. Everyone can learn to memorize rows and rows of random digits. In fact, after just one year (or even less) of practicing, you could memorize pretty much anything.
I wasn't puting them down. I'm just preventing other people from putting them on too high a pedestal and putting themselves down by doing that. I'm just simply stating that there are other kinds of intelligence so that people don't have this distorted view of what that is. I am not at all discounting their incredible abilities, I only wish I had memory abilities like that.
agreed. There are other sorts of intelligence..emotional intelligence, creative, etc. Just because i can remember every word in the dictionary doesn't mean i can come up with the theory of relativity. But these people are amazing no doubt.
